Why are people afraid they are not gifted in the same way of others? It seems like having a fast car or an expensive suit. If your IQ is not near average, that does not mean you do not have value.
Agreed @Apples
It's so good to know that The Lord does not at all care about all that.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

"26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence."

8 chapters later Paul talks about running a race.

1 Corinthians 9:24
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Value and purpose is different with God than with people. Life is kinda like that too: One builds a fence and another rides a bronco. One cleans and another performs surgery. Which is greater if both are required?

My mother assembled machine gun belts in a factory close to home during WW2. My father was a rear gunner and communications officer and flew missions over the South Pacific. Which one came home a hero? I say they both did.

Gifts from God are like that and do His will while we perform these many tasks. Are we self-driven? Can we actually escape His driving force within, his calling, and not lose our own selves? Either way, He makes a way, and we can do nothing without Him, whether for or against. In the end it is His will that prevails.

What people? I have never heard about anyone being afraid they have low IQ.
