Brother's house sold (thankyou); the Devil keeps attacking my salvation (because at one point I backslid)

Hi there,

So just to get it out of the way: my brother is trying to sell a house of his (its really time critical, because it is costing money), I don't know that you can force someone to buy it, but maybe pray that someone will want to commit and that will help.

The other thing is: the Devil keeps attacking my faith. I used to have faith, and I got angry at my Dad and decided to stop attending Church. That was years ago and I have since got baptised and attend Church every Sunday, but the Devil attacks me saying "you fell from faith, your faith is worthless". I think I should quote scripture - that just dawned on me now. Your prayers in this respect would help also!

Lord, I pray for all those struggling with faith, who get told they've violated the covenant they had with you - we rebuke the Devil and we plead the blood of the Lamb over our belief, in Jesus' Name Amen.

Heavenly Father, I pray for your servant that he will know the confidence in his heart that He is Yours forever, that you have redeemed Him with no going back! Please make his life fruitful, loving those around Him, sanctified to serve You by serving them. Please touch his heart with the assurance only You can give! I pray in Jesus' Name, that You may be glorified!

I've started aggressively asserting my faith and it seems to have put the Devil on the back foot. It's the same old tactic "did God really say don't eat the forbidden fruit?" "did you really believe in God, when you came to the faith?" etc. etc.

I'm not sure there is a point, where I can tell him to "shut up" forever, though? God knows it will end at some point!

Remember it's good to say "the Lord rebuke you" when dealing with the devil.

There is only what humanity has created to excuse what it called backsliding, when its
Called deliberate sinning against God.
If anyone can honestly say it was not their
Own choice to backslide, then where does
That choice get blamed, since the wages
Of sin is death to the Soul how can we assume
We have chosen God if we can go back to
Sinning against Him?
Humanity says, we are human God knows
We cant be perfect, when christhimself who
Does know us, says, be perfect like your heavenly father, and though christ had no sin
He still said, only the father is perfect.

Humanity dismisses backsliding but they fail
To see God said differently in Ezekiel, to those
Who read it and think that God was only speaking to what was the Old Covenant, and we
Are now in the New Covenant, and to then find
God has since changed his mind and now
Condones sin via grace, is the real meaning
Of delusional.

Backsliding is discussed in Gods Word in Ezekiel
And very plainly states that to turn back to sin
When he never called it backsliding, said he will die, that soul is condemned and has Not turned from sin, Gods Words says turned, yet man
Has come up with his own ways in which to rewrite what God said, and we do not find anywhere in Gods Word that permits returning
To sin in any way, since that takes our saying
Yes to sin and not no to God.

Last point of Christ having died once is what illuminates mans version of repeating sins
And calling it a name God never condoned,
Its still sin to God, now in Hebrews in what
Is stated that man has also concluded does
Not apply for whatever the reason to defy it
Seems to tell us that we have no further
Sacrifice for sin, however, man found a way
To bypass what made it into the Canon and then
Found a way to excuse our sins once the bibe said we have tasted the heavenly gift.

God doesnt confuse us, nor does he say we must become theologians and twist the words to our subjective opinions, no, He said it clearly
In plain and simple words for all to know, He didnt die repeatedly any time we get the whim
To go against what He calls sin to placate our
Own version of what we feel it says to us in how we wish to believe it, is what God called,
Our understanding, that He warns us not to
Listen to since the human heart will find a way
When it turns from God and what He said not to do for it is sin.

Likewise when what Paul described and has
Gotton approved by man to take its contents
To mean Paul assents to sin as if not being his choice, when it is not meant to be understood
In that way, mans way to ascribe to what Paul
Is not saying.
Paul stated he crucifies his flesh daily to not
Allow sin to be in his choices, yet man has
Found a way to distort that we can all allow
Our members of our body to sin while not
Being under subjection to our Will.

Get back on the narrow road like it says in the bible. Let's say your driving. There are detours that hurt you, God and other people. Stop taking detours. Below you are people going in circles and hitting dead ends. They are lost. Then there is those who come to the light and get on the narrow road. They might detour because they are following people into detours instead of following Jesus. Turn on cruise control and ride that narrow road we've all taken them before, but we are Christians and there is a way that seems right to people like the bible says leads to death. Keep your eyes on the road until you reach your destiny, christ.

I learned to deal with the Devil by invoking the fact that I have now been baptised - I no longer do the things I used to do, in sin.
