The Law of Moses : Can't Define a CHRISTian. #1

Is it accurate to understand this to mean that, although we believers stumble and do things that are displeasing to our Heavenly Father, they are NOT considered "sin" in his eyes because we are not under the law and his "seed" is in us?

"the law shall have no dominion over you, for you are NOT UNDER THE LAW...........but under GRACE". (God's Grace).

This means that the born again Christian.....(not the water baptized religious church goer).....but the BORN Again Spiritually - CHRISTian, who is "in Christ".....can never again be defined by Moses 613 Laws or The 10 Commandments.

See, Reader,
before we became a born again Christian, Moses Law had dominion over us and defined us as SINNERS sinning.
But now that we are born again... and have become "one with God"... "in Christ"..."seated in Heavenly places"... "an heir of God", and a "joint Heir with JESUS"..... = The CHRISTian now ETERNALLY exists in the Spiritual KOG where there is NO Moses Law or 10 Commandments...that can define the Christian.

So, How is the CHRISTian now defined?

The CHRISTian is now defined by God as .. "born again".... "made righteous", "having eternal life".. ""eternally forgiven".... as a "new Creation in Christ"....

And thats it.

Now what we do is simply use the 10 Commandments as our LIFESTYLE boundary, understanding that if we break one of them, then suffering is going to come as a consequence.......and that is related to.....>"reaping what you've sown"........and that is different then being "under the law" and being judged by it.

NT Righteousness is not actually defined as ""right or wrong."" behavior.

Its MOSES Law that creates the "right vs wrong"... point of view that makes you feel condemned.

This means that the born again are become ""THE Righteousness of God"... Paul teaches.

AAAA.) Because they dont know anything about The Cross of Christ, or the New Covenant, or the Blood Atonement.

All they know is "law, law, Moses law, and 10 Commandments"......so, this defines them as a LEGALIST, and its quite possible that they are not actually born again.

You'll get that inner warning, If He is in you, and if you're not ever getting it then you are not born again yet, you are just a water baptized religious but lost.

So....This is why the CHRISTian does not need to be concerned about 613 Moses Laws or the 10 Commandments, as the Holy Spirit is our Guide, and our Instructor and our "dont do that"!! ........who lives on the inside of Us.
He'll let the Believer know what is correct behavior............and He does this in our Conscience, inside us, in our inner man.

Every Christian has encounted His internal correction,...its that "sting" of....>>"that was not good, i should not have done that".....and that happens after He already let you to KNOW INSIDE that that choice was not to be chosen.
So, if you decide to do it anyway, if you decide to enjoy some "flesh"...behavior.... then you are going to have to deal with the consequences in life and then inside yourself you are going to feel that sense of having violated something HOLY........and that is the Holy Spirit being grieved.
And you'll feel the same way.

I agree with this, but I want to just say that the Holy Spirit always leads us to love - and it is not surprising that the 10 commandments are about love when we understand then properly. Love doesn't lie to their neighbor or steal from them and so on. Even desiring wrong in our hearts is wrong. This is precisely why the commands to love God and neighbor fulfills the law and love covers a multitude of sins- as it is written. We are made righteous in Christ and we then are guided by the Spirit to live/walk in that righteousness, Do you agree with this?

Yes, and it's not a good feeling- and who enjoys discipline? For me- I have found that a confessing of my sin and praising God for the blood of Jesus is the best way. I don't fear loss of salvation.
I know you do not agree with confessing- but I see it as an apology owed for disobeying the Spirit. I would apologize to a friend if I sinned, and I also desire to apologize to the Lord. Or-- when my children disobeyed me- I taught them to apologize.

When your verse was given......>Jesus had not died on THE CROSS YET...
This means that there was no "CHRISTIANITY" yet......>No Body of Christ yet.........>no NT CHURCH of God created yet.....as all of this begain with Jesus's Death on The Cross.

So, your verses are talking to JEWS.........

Are you a Jew?
Are you an OLD TESTAMENT JEW, whom Jesus was dealing with before He DIED..........as that is your verse.

So, your verse is not given to the Body of Christ as "doctrine for the NT Church" as there was no CHRISTIANITY created yet by Christ on The Cross when Luke 16 was written for JEWS only.

Paul described the Law of Moses as being the good that he wanted to do and the law of sin as being what was causing him not to do the good that he wanted to do. The law where sin had dominion or mastery over us is clearly referring to the law of sin that is causing us not to do the good that we want to do, not to the Law of God that is the good that we want to do, but you are instead rejecting the law that is the good that Paul wanted to do and are embracing what was causing him not do to the good that he wanted to do. We need to die to the law of sin in order to be free to obey the Law of God, not the other way around.

So, we see that God accepts us, based on what He has offered as the "one time ETERNAL sacrifice" for our sin.

We can't do that for ourselves, and the 10 commandments and 613 Moses Law can't provide that... In fact the way OUT of being deemed unrighteous by Moses Law and the 10 Commandments, is THE CROSS OF CHRIST, where God has given us HIS righteousness, as "the Gift of Rightesousness"..

What is that?

That is our : Salvation who is Jesus ... As its Jesus alone who has "redeemed us from the CURSE...OF...THE ... LAW".

This specific curse is " MOSES Law"s dominion = to define a sinner everyone as a sinner<>Unrighteous.

And part of the Good News that is The Gospel...is that Jesus has redeemed us from that "CURSE"... because "you are NOT UNDER THE LAW.....but under GRACE"""

In Titus 2:14, it does not say that Jesus gave himself to redeem us from the Law of Moses but in order to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so the way to believe in what Jesus accomplished through the cross is by becoming zealous for doing good works in obedience to the Law of Moses (Acts 21:20). The reason why Jesus went to cross was not in order to curse us by cause us to be free to become doers of what the Law of Moses reveals to be sin, but just the opposite.

Jesus saves us from our sin (Matthew 1:21) and it is by the Law of Moses that we have knowledge of what sin is (Roman 3:20), so Jesus graciously teaching us to experience being a doer righteousness works in obedience to it is intrinsically the way that he is giving us his gift of saving us from not being a doer of it as his gift of righteousness.

Now.....Reader, if you are trying to keep all the 10 Commandments and 613 of Moses's Law to try to stay saved, or to be saved, or to "keep from losing relationship with God".....then you are "under the law", and you are "fallen from Grace", and you are in a "carnal mind".

So, that is a ""carnal mind"" that is "in the Flesh"....Paul teaches in Galatians.......and the theological term for this is "LEGALIST" or "LEGALISM".
I define it as "broken faith"......that needs to be restored with the help of someone who can truly help you SEE your way back to the Light.

It would be contradictory for someone who is not a doer of the Law of Moses to also be saved from not being a doer of the Law of Moses. In Titus 2:11-13, the content of our gift of salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so we are not extrinsically required to have first done those works in obedience to the Law of Moses order to earn our salvation as the result and we are not extrinsically required to do those works as the result of having first been saved, but rather we are intrinsically required to be a doer of those works because God graciously teaching us to experience being a doer of them is part of the content of His gift of salvation. If someone were trying to extrinsically earn their salvation as the result of their works, then they would fall from grace. In Roman 8:4-7, Paul contrasted those who walk in the Spirit with those who have minds set on the flesh who are enemies of God who refuse to submit to the Law of Moses.

Jesus is God's Word made flesh, so it is contradictory to think that we should only trust in him instead of trusting in his sample of embodying God's Word. God is trustworthy, therefore the Law of Moses is also trustworthy (Psalm 19:7), so the way to trust in God to save us from not being a doer of the Law of Moses is intrinsically by being a doer of the Law of Moses and it would be contradictory to think that we should trust in God alone for salvation instead of obediently trusting in God's instructions. God did not give the Law of Moses as instructions for how to become self-righteous. Something that we do through our own efforts does not involve relying on anyone else, so it would be contradicting to consider obediently relying on God's instructions to be relying on ourselves. Relying on our own efforts would not involve doing anything that God has instructed. God graciously teaching us to be doer of the Law of Moses is how God is saving us, not how we are saving ourselves.

Always remember that God gave MOSES LAW and the 10 Commandments to show you that you can't do it....... you are not righteous....so, we then turn to Christ... .and we receive HIM as our SAVIOR and He becomes for us.. "God hath made JESUS...to be Sin for us"... and we become "The rightesousness of God, in Christ'........we are then "made righteous" based on the blood and death and resurrection of Jesus.

Nowhere does the Bible say that God gave the Law of Moses in oder to show us that we can't do it, but just the opposite. In Romans 10:5-8, Paul referred to Deuteronomy 30 as the word of faith that we proclaim in regard to the righteousness that is by faith proclaiming that the Law of Moses is not too difficult for us to obey and that obedience to it brings life and a blessing while disobedience brings death and a curse, so choose life! So it was presented as a possibility and as a choice, not as something that is impossible for us to do. Moreover, there are many examples in the Bible of people who did obey the Law of Moses, such as with those in Joshua 22:1-3, Luke 1:5-6, Revelation 14:12, and Revelation 22:14.

It is contradictory to turn to God's Word made flesh instead of turning to his example of embodying God's Word. If someone does not want Jesus to save them from not living in obedience to the Law of Moses, then they do not want him as their Savior. Christ embodied the righteousness of God through his works by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Law of Moses, so that is also what we get the gift of getting to obey when we become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Sin is a rebellious, murderous, hateful, etc... spirit. And it is against God.
When Cain didn't listen to God, he allowed Satan to enter into his heart.
That spirit is what the world inherited.

Quick Lesson On : The LAW of MOSES

So, if a believer is to "walk in the Spirit" in the "renewed mind", as Paul teaches, then you have to get the revelation that a born again Christian is "not under the law", and they exit as "made free from sin"... .having become .. "THE Righteousness of God, in Christ".

That is GOD's eternal perspective of every Born Again Christian, and we must get the same MIND , and keep it.

Reader this revelation knowledge is SPIRITUAL...= SPIRITUAL only, and it wont fit the belief system of a carnal minded believer, or a religious fakir who both believe that they are a sinner, sinning, and need to confess sin and "behavior modify"... to try to stay saved.

What is the law of the Spirit of life?

Gal 5:13
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Gal 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Gal 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
