"End times" typically refers to a final seven-year period (see Daniel 9:27). These events will be very clear, and will include the partial rebuilding of the Jewish temple (Malachi 3:1).

Two things my friend .Paul doesn't say the end times will last 2,000 years. He appears to be saying that the ends of ages was coming soon, in their era.
I suppose my question should of been will the end of the world occur in the next 10 years?
I dont look at time tables either .You too? Me too!
I stopped looking for time-tables and the like. The bottom line is, God wins in the end.
1 Cor 3:16-17..."End times" typically refers to a final seven-year period (see Daniel 9:27). These events will be very clear, and will include the partial rebuilding of the Jewish temple (Malachi 3:1).
And GOD and the LAMB are the TEMPLE . i , john , saw no temple therein1 Cor 3:16-17...
“Do you not know that you people are God’s temple, and that the spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] you people are.”
God’s temple is in heaven, Christ returned to that great spiritual Temple to present the value of his sacrifice to his God and Father.
Heb 9:24...
“For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with hands, which is a copy of the reality, but into heaven itself, so that he now appears before God on our behalf.”
The earthly temple was a representation of the heavenly one.
Since there is no longer any need of a temple to offer sacrifices to God...no third temple will be necessary.
That is why one has never been built since the last one was destroyed by the Romans in 70 C.E.
Jesus was the last and permanent sacrifice for sins. He is the high priest in that temple, facilitating acceptable worship to his God and Father for the redeemed ones living on the earth.

For as long as I can remember there have been people saying that we are living in the end times, that the Armageddon is near, that Christ is returning, that the end of the world is upon us.
It seems like there have been people saying this in every generation since Christ. Even the apostles thought that they were living in the end times. Yet it never happened, the world kept on going.
People say that we live in dark times but we actually live in a peaceful world if you look at history and compare it to the world before WW2. Before then there was always wars, several wars happening all around the world at once. Europe and Asia especially always had wars between neighbouring kingdoms all the time with borders constantly being redrawn. Today is relatively peaceful in comparison.
On the other hand the fact that many nations posses nuclear weapons means that the end of the world as we know it can happen very quickly without much warning. A world war between Russia or China and America could result in a nuclear war that could turn continents into a thermonuclear wastelands. It may even occur through a computer virus or bug that unintentionally launches nuclear missiles.
What are your thoughts?
Are we living in the end times?
That theory above is a Jesuit inspired masterpiece based on a scripture that is totally isolated and irrelevant to the end times. Just because there's a period mentioned in Daniel of 7 years, you cannot, must not rip that out of its contextual setting and glue it into an unknown future 2000+years later than it's actual fulfillment. That is scriptural butchery. But the Jesuits are good at that when it suits. The worst of it is that Protestants, particularly American evangelicals, have bought into the lie and run with it, injecting the lie with steroids through Hollywood and a license to print money through novels purported to be based on scripture. It's the biggest lying scam in Christendom."End times" typically refers to a final seven-year period (see Daniel 9:27). These events will be very clear, and will include the partial rebuilding of the Jewish temple (Malachi 3:1).
I say 2033. Jesus will come for judgment after Satan is given his short lived period of being worshipped as God. How that exactly plays out is difficult to know. The Christian church has been in a fallen state for some time now.Paul doesn't say the end times will last 2,000 years. He appears to be saying that the ends of ages was coming soon, in their era.

You stated: "After the Apocolypse, there is supposed to be a 1,000 year rule with Christ. So, depending on what end you are referring to, we have a ways to go."Great question! IMO, there are 2 ways to look at it.
1. AMBIGUOUS/METAPHORICAL. Jesus ushered in that part of Isaiah that we are in the ‘year’ of the Lord’s favor.
This Age is before the ‘end times.’
2. Revelation 6. Some prophecy that we are living through Revelation 6 with the release of the Black horse expected by years end.
After the Apocolypse, there is supposed to be a 1,000 year rule with Christ. So, depending on what end you are referring to, we have a ways to go.
That would be meschiach, the jews"messiah", a.k.a. anti- Christ. We're getting closer to that day. It's not a mystery who the man of sin is. This one world governance is the goal of judaism. No mystery. This question about end times depends upon the definition of "end times." One definition of end times is the warning of Jesus in Matthew 24:15:
"So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."
This abomination is described in 2Thessalonians 2:4:
"who opposes and exalts himself against any so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God."
We have had such people presuming themselves to be God (e.g. Roman emperors). We call the man in 2Thessalonians 2:4 "anti-Christ," where "anti" takes the sense of "in place of." He will oversee the building of the Jewish temple, and then take his seat in it (2Thessalonians 2:3-4).
You said:Have you ever done a study on what the Bible says about “the time of the end”? Daniel’s prophesies are amazing considering that they were written 500 years before Jesus was born.....
Matt 24 gives us Jesus’ own prophesies on the end times....so we would know when he was going to bring down the final judgment on this wicked world and “separate the sheep from the goats”.
He listed a series of world events that would take place in one timeframe of history and even when that time would occur.
These are unprecedented times, as this is the age of reason, not the age of ignorance...we have never been so well educated or sophisticated in communication as we are now, but in spite of our superior knowledge we are still as barbaric as ever when it comes to bloodshed....and with less excuse.
We know better, but we don’t do better....we don’t put our knowledge to work making the world a better, safer place for everyone......we don’t see ourselves as a global community but as selfish citizens of sovereign nations, hell bent on keeping their own land, and taking control of the land that belongs to someone else....with bloodshed. Precious lives lost and for what?! The greed and hunger for power that comes with corrupt human rulership. Shouldn’t we have progressed beyond that by now?
If you are interested I can share some info on Daniel’s prophesies that might surprise you for accuracy....2,500 years ago he wrote about our day.....
In the bible it says that with the Lord, a day is as (or like) a thousand years, and a thousand years are as a day, not that a day actually is a thousand years for Him, or a thousand years actually is a day:According to God a day is a 1,000 years and a 1,000 years is a day. I don't think we humans can comprehend time on this temporal plane. It could be that the end times was from after Christ. Because all through history Christians see evil in the world and pending doom.
Nice post. So true when you say " perfect storm".According to God a day is a 1,000 years and a 1,000 years is a day. I don't think we humans can comprehend time on this temporal plane. It could be that the end times was from after Christ. Because all through history Christians see evil in the world and pending doom.
I think every generation of Christians believes it is the end times because it may very well be and to God this is just a day.
I think the key is in Christ mentioning the example of the change in season and the figs falling from the tree. A sign of a period of time and not a specific day.
In that sense there is no specific time that the figs will fall. But there is a season or period that it will come at some point and the longer the season goes on the more we can see the time is close by the ripeness of the fruit.
Christ said that no one knows the day or hour. But says we will know like we know the changing of the seasons and its nearing maturity.
I think the spirit will tell us as Christ says we can know the time is nearing when he gives us the signs that will happen. Such as earthquakes in diverse places. Which is interesxting because now more than ever we can report earthquakes in diverse places. I don't think that was the case in our past.
God allows for the complete time so that everything that has to happen will happen and not before. His timing is perfect.
I believe the season is ripening as more signs are being fullfilled than ever before. Its not just the signs but also a certain level of conscious awareness. Almost as though humans have to reach a certain level of knowledge and rejection of God where satan has tried everything to win.
But also so that enough time has gone by that people can see how all the alternative ideas that reject God and Christs truth are exposed as lies. So that there is no ambiguity that Christ is the truth and satan has been exposed.
One consequence I think of this will be demonic forces being unleashed so that those who reject Christ will not hold back anymore as they have been exposed and it will become a spiritual war between people and even within families.
It seems like it is moving towards a perfect storm of factors. as opposed to the past humans had not exploited the earths resources. Had not exploited tech and material wealth. Had not been able to perhaps almost perfect the creation of life artifically and believe become for a time the gods of this world.
