No-one sins against themselves. Sin is the transgression against the law. God's Law. It is God we offend, no man is offended by his own sin. We live to sin. We love to sin. It is natural for the carnal man to sin.Ok, so now we’re getting somewhere. If the MOB is a sin against the soul not the physical body even if it is literal and physical, then a believer can get the literal and physical MOB while remaining faithful to Christ, right?
No-one accepts the mark unless they choose to. It is voluntary. God isn't going to inflict the most dire consequence of rebellion upon anyone who hasn't, with full awareness and deliberate acceptance, taken the mark. And it isn't physical. The mark is a form of worship that i is contrary to God's commandments. In fact the entire submission to the beast ("have no other gods before Me"), its image (no idols) its name (My name sacred) and its mark (Remember to keep holy My day), transgresses all 4 of the first table of the law. (See Revelation 15:2)
