You think there are transgressors and wicked that are persuaded they are on God's side?
I suppose that could be true.
I see a lot of evil people believeing that God is on their side.
I don't know if they believe they are on His side.
And we know that the ones who don't get the mark are those who keep his commandments and the testimony of Jesus.
I guess they will have to figure that out for themselves.

How many do you suppose may have been beheaded knowing only the baptism of John?

As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
So these prisoners that were sent to Jerusalem to be "punished" , is it possible that John the Baptist was the example by which they "punished" the prisoners?

Your problem is that you don't believe the Bible and so you don't believe that Jesus has a plan to restore and unite ALL PEOPLE into God.

The Israel of the Bible is not the modern state of Israel. The modern state of Israel is the result of a Satan-worshipping group covertly hijacking the Zionists religion as a cover for their corrupt agenda.
The Israel of the Bible--biblically--was and "is finished" and their descendants dispensed among the gentiles to be gather by Christ in spirit--"Behold I stand at the door and knock..."

God promised to restore Israel and that it would never again be destroyed. I believe he fulfilled his promise in 1948.
Amos 9:14-15
14 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. 15 I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them" says the Lord your God.

A lot of what I once saw was available as to those who did their research that was public record has since been scrubbed from public record. So it is difficult now. But you can probably still find some information about the Khazars, but it too has been scrubbed. I just did a search asking "When did the Khazars convert to Judaism?" And that much is still on record--the cause however has been scrubbed. Which was because Russia went to war with them for their satanic practices and kidnapping of Russian children to be used in their sacrificial ceremonies. That was public record before--I read it. Russia won and made them choice alternatively between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Now, the only place you can get the actual historical truth is from conspiracy theorists, all of which is now otherwise stated online as myth. It is interesting that the "myth" coverup is so prevalent that, that alone should be enough to cause suspicion.
But it will not stay hidden for ever. There is and has been a movement to stop them again for their crimes against humanity, manipulation of wars, and financial dealings. It all goes waaay back. Involved are the American Revolution, the assassinations of Lincoln and JFK, 9/11, Ukraine, Covid 19, and now Iran...just to name a few. Some of the evidence is why Washington DC and the City of London are not actually American or British, but their own separate, sovereign nations. The evidence is everywhere, but we have been like the frog in a pot slowly heated to boiling. Boiling, is where we are presently. Hence everything seeming over the top crazy.
Stay tuned--not to the major news networks--but to real things happening...things like strange deaths, retirments, and disappearences of elite, politicians, scientists, cooprate heads, educators, and the rich and famous. The swamp is being drained as we speak, and little by little revelations of corrupt criminal activities. Voter fraud is next.
