It goes back even further to prohibitions against graven images and likenesses; it's about worship and idolatry. Were the animated rods of Moses and Pharaoh "just a tool"? To whom were each of those rods consecrated?

Exodus 20:4 forbids making carved idols or likenesses of things in heaven, earth, or water for worship.
Leviticus 26:1 commands the Israelites to make no idols, graven images, or stone pillars to worship.
Deuteronomy 7:25 directs believers to burn the graven images of foreign gods with fire.
Isaiah 44:9-20 explains that those who make a graven image are wasting their time because idols cannot see or help them.

A graven image is something made with man's hands. A.I. becomes more than "just a tool" when due diligence has been neglected.

This is not about possession. This is about consecration. IOW, who do you look to, for the authority to do the things that you do?

To whom is A.I. consecrated? If A.I. is consecrated to Satan, then it is an accursed object, which means devils have a legal right to access those who appropriate the object. Spiritual Warfare 101.

Don't be caught in the worldwide webtrap of failing to perform due diligence just because you want the supposed benefits of the technology.
