What I said goes with saying; no elaboration should be needed because it is common sense. If the earth is round, and it definitely is, a person will see further in a straight line from a higher vantage point, and even further it where they’re looking is also higher.

Are you going to answer my questions?
>>>>If the earth is round, and it definitely is
Because :-

The equator sees all the earthly visible stars yet the poles can't

Due to outward centrifugal force, 1000kg at the equator is 1050kg at the poles.

You are inserting your own interpretation into a simple statement. The text refers to the earth as a circle. If you were looking at the moon you would say that it is a circle. The earth is a circle, but it is not a ball according to the Hebrew.
No I am not inserting my own meaning. "Circle of the earth" means that the earth has a circle, not that it is a circle, just as in phrases like "driver of the bus," hands of the clock," and "pastor of a church" don't mean that the bus is a driver, that the clock is hands, or that the church is a pastor. You have to twist the wording of Isaiah 40:22 to make it say that the earth is a circle.

Besides, God is a Spirit - He doesn't literally sit anywhere. The passage in Isaiah is symbolic:

NKJV Isa 40:22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
Isa 40:23 He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.
Isa 40:24 Scarcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble.

Do princes and judges have literal roots? Does God literally plant and sow them in the ground?

Finally, as I mentioned before, the word translated "circle" in Isaiah 40:22 can also mean "circuit" or "compass", and indeed is so translated eleswere.

@Biblica is CORRECT in his/her reply to you on the word "circle" = Post #2,270

The HOLY SPIRIT used two different words:

for "circle"

Isaiah 40:22

the circle
ח֣וּג (ḥūḡ)
Noun - masculine singular construct
Strong's Hebrew 2329: 1) circle, circuit, compass 2) (BDB) vault (of the heavens)

If the earth were a globe/sphere/ball God would of told us, for HE is the Creator!!!

God tells us we are not on a sphere/globe/ball

Isaiah 22:18
into a ball,
כַּדּ֕וּר (kad·dūr)
Preposition, Article | Noun - masculine singular
Strong's Hebrew 1754: 1) ball, circle 1a) circle 1b) ball

Always believe God's words over that of the globalists religion
I do believe God's word, which certainly mentions the "circle of the earth". But you seem to want to make the verse mean something like: "It is He who sits above the earth, and the earth is a circle." But it doesn't say that. "The circle of the earth" no more means "The earth is a circle" than "the eclipse of the sun" means "the sun is an eclipse." In the Bible, those words "of the earth" occur many times. We read of "every beast of the earth," "the face of the earth," "every creeping thing of the earth", "the families of the earth," and "the dust of the earth". And that is just in Genesis 1-13! If, as you claim "the circle of the earth" means "the earth is a circle," by the same logic, the earth must also be every beast, a face, every creeping thing, families, and dust. "The A of the B" does not mean "A is B."

If flat then the whole earth would be able to see all the stars :-

Lol! That’s one way to ignore the obvious problem with your method of interpretation. Either the earth is a circle or it is a polygon, not both. Your reasoning and exegesis both need a lot of work.
Better go see a doctor for your outbreak of 'exegewiz'

i hope so
But you seem to want to make the verse mean something like: "It is He who sits above the earth, and the earth is a circle."
The verse says what it means without any help from you, me or anyone else.

Berean Literal Bible
He is sitting above the circle of the earth, and its dwellers are like grasshoppers; He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and He spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

King James Bible
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

New King James Version
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

New American Standard Bible
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to live in.

Now did you know what you just did???
It was you brother, and others, who made a FALSE claim saying: "Isaiah 40:22 circle means sphere/globe"

Your final sentence is wrong, because I have never said or claimed that in Isaiah 40:22 circle means a sphere or a globe. My posts have been about the two little words "of the." I have been saying that "of the" does NOT mean "is". So "the circle of the earth" does not say that the earth is a circle. When I talk about "the soul of my foot," I don't mean that my foot is a sole. When the bible talks of the owl of the desert, it is not saying that the desert is an owl. Jesus talked of "the salt of the earth." Did He mean that the earth is salt? Of course not! So why do yo insist that the phrase, "the circle of the earth" means that the earth is a flat disc?

As the words are written (literarily, without revealing the Spirit), they are written in a way that can be interpreted differently. Which I would suggest is by design, as God has set before us all "life and death, blessing and cursing" saying, "therefore choose life, that you and your family may live." Which simply makes the matter all the more difficult to access...because the truth is not clearly stated in scripture, but is given in a way that we must choose.

For me, that means not leaning on my own logic or understanding and things that are also debatable, but rather my witness. In other words, what has God revealed? In my own case, He has revealed the curvature of a global earth, as I gave witness to in a previous post. In which case, I am left to either believe or deny--as is the case with everything from God. Which I do believe.

There's the bugaboo.

"oblate pear shaped spheroid" versus "photo shopped globe" - both are false narratives. The psyop would now have us wasting precious time synthesizing/harmonizing the two ostensibly opposing views.
The head of the Haydin planetarium described the earth as an "Oblate sphereoid pear shaped," in a televison interview I saw. It is not a perfectly round ball. The perfect round ball models we are shown are photoshopped from the images that are sent to earth from the satellites. They come down in narrow strips and they have to be photoshopped, so they can make them look any way they want to. That is why the pictures of earth are always seen in different colors.

There was a model done of the oblate spheroid pear shaped model and it is very flat on the top, but bulbous on the bottom. If I can find the picture I have of it I will post it.

There is no evidence that the bible talks about "flat" earth (and all the ridiculous pictures of it, like a flat disc floating in space); so we shouldn't conclude something it does not positively affirm. However, it certainly contradicts our modern understanding of it. So all we know is that according to the bible and it's non-metaphorical descriptions of the creation of the world (which Genesis 1 is without a doubt) there are waters above the sky, and daylight is not effect of the sun. There is no evidence in the bible for space, planets etc., that's all modern secular science/philosophy, foreign to biblical revelation.

So if you try to prove that the bible confirms modern science, or that the bible affirms the flat-disc-floating-in-space reality, you put yourself into a lot of trouble. Let's stick to clear revelation and not get trapped. Both modern science and the flat earth idea are secular.

The earth is not a flat disk.

The earth is not a globe.

The earth has a surface which is level. Upon the level surface of the earth we have mountains, valleys, hills, low lands, and the waterways which are cut-outs for streams rivers, ponds, lakes and oceans.

Underneath the surface of the earth is very deep.
Miles down where man cannot venture.
Miles down is where the foundations of the earth are.

i believe you used the word sphere in your posts = which post was it?

Why not? Is space cloudy that you can't see so far? No, it's not.

Your feigned disbelief betrays "rules for thee but not for me".
Amazing that only you and the globalists can see 255,800 miles away and see the surface of the moon.

Those who walk in the Holy Spirit of Truth can SEE the surface of the moon as God placed it = much much closer!!!

Always believe God at His word.

You can too. Just look up at the night sky. You'll see it.

Have you ever stood by a train track, and watched a train coming from a distance? When it's far away, it appears very small. As it comes closer, it appears larger. As it passes by you, you see the full size of the train. Then as it continues on away from you, it appears smaller the further away it is from you.

If the moon were circling over a flat earth, it would be exactly like that, but it's not. I suggest you stew on that fact for a while until you understand it's significance. Because it's clear you do not.
