Ok, stop right there, as i can help you, if you will listen carefully..... And the Help you are seeking is a Free and Constant Blessing that you may receive from God daily.
1.) If you are born again... and not just water baptized and religious, then Jesus has your sin, and You have God's Righteousness.
Reader.......While ON The Cross, Jesus was explaining that which you now possess as : "It is finished".
Paul teaches this as....>>"God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us".....and now we have received the "imputed Righteousness" from God as a Gift..........and The Born again Christian is "not under the Law, but under (God's) GRACE"
And what is that Righteousness?..
Its God's actual Righteousness that has been given to you, as "The Gift of Righteousness".
Now, what did you do, during all your lifetime of enjoying sinning, that can cause God to give you His Righteousness?
A.) You can't DO anything, as what can a sinner do to merit or to earn God's Righteousness?
AA.) NOTHING.
So, how do you get it ?????, as you can't be a Christian without it, and you can't go to Heaven without being in eternal possesion of God's Righteousness.
AAA.) God gives it to you as an Eternal GIFT, the moment you give God your FAITH in Christ.
Listen.....the very instant, the very moment, it that Blink of an Eye, when you gave God your Faith in Jesus The Lord......God gave you His "Gift of Salvation", and His "Gift of Eternal Life", and His "Gift of Righteousness".
Now, see those 3 FREE ETERNAL GIFTS, that God has give to every SINNER, who comes to Christ by Faith ???
Reader its your SINS that prequalified you to receive from God, His Own Righteousness and Salvation and New Birth.
= "Jesus came into the world to SAVE SINNERS"...
So, did you Remember??...........Do you remember when you trusted in Christ that very first time in your heart????, as God remembers it, as that is your Heavenly Birthday.... That day is your Born again...= Birthday, that is your 2nd Birthday.........and you can thank your Mother for your first one.
And be sure to take time today to Thank God for your 2nd Birthday, = (Born Again).....as that one is the only true proof you became a Christian, according to God.
Now, see all that which i just showed you?
I just showed you that when you were a lost sinner.....a LOST HELL BOUND SINNER........God forgave all your sin, and gave you 3 Eternal gifts the momenty you trusted Christ with all your heart.
So, you received these 3 Eternal Gifts, While """we were Yet SINNERS""".
Therefore, trying to keep them after you have them, by struggling to try to be good, .....means you have never understood that you received these Eternal Gifts from God, when you were a Sinner...........having never done anything for God, other than offend Him with all your sinning, all your life, till then.
Now, what you must do, is BELIEVE that you have RECEIVED from God....... ETERNAL "forgiveness". "Eternal Righteousness", and "Eternal Life"........ without performing for Him.
And until you can believe this, you will continue to be a : "that which i hate is what i do", and "that which i want to do, i can't".
But then.......the very moment that you come into Real Faith, that pleases God, and that means you stop trying to EARN God's Approval.....then at that moment you have taken your FIRST Real Step of "Growing in Grace". And if you will continue to BELIEVE that God has made you Righteous, and Justified, and Forgiven, and filled with His Eternal Life who is JESUS.........then God will empower your Discipleship, which allows you to stop Striving and Straining and Failing, as you begin to walk in the Light as God is in the Light, = by FAITH.
If you will get your MIND together, and BELIEVE and receive what i just taught you, then God will show you what it means to be not just delivered but incredibly empowered to walk a very high level of Christian Discipleship.
See, you can't do that of or by your own willpower........and that is why your Christianity is not working at all.
So, what you have to do, is stop YOURSELF, and replace YOURSELF with the Full Assurance of God's Grace as your Power, and your Peace, and your Eternal Hope.
