You would first have to understand the SIGNS of the END of this world leading up to His future return that He was giving His disciples there. Obviously, you don't understand those SIGNS, and even sounds like your don't want to understand them. Those SIGNS Jesus gave are the Seals of Revelation 6. And the last SIGN He gave there in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 was that of His future 2nd coming, which has NOT... happened yet to this day!

No, Davy. You’re doing it again.

I asked:

Where does Jesus say “this generation” means some other generation thousands of years later?

You answered by telling me I must first understand your system of “signs,” Revelation 6, and the future Second Coming.

Thats not an answer. Thats the framework being used to redefine the words in front of us.

Show me where Jesus Himself changes the generation.

Book. Chapter. Verse. >

Otherwise, all you’re doing is warning me that Chewbacca really was Leia’s husband because I first need to understand the hidden Wookiee signs before I’m allowed to read the scene normally.

In other words:

“You can’t understand the wedding photo until you accept the Chewbacca Covenant framework.”

Thats exactly the problem.

You still haven’t shown where Jesus Himself changes “this generation” into a generation thousands of years later.

And if you cant show that from the Bible, then everything else you’re building on top of it is irrelevant to the question I asked.

You need the

Book. Chapter. Verse.

to support everything else you’re claiming.

So where is it?

Keep that right hand clean! The Mark is coming right at you!
Revelation 13:16-17
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

No, Davy. You’re doing it again.

I asked:

Where does Jesus say “this generation” means some other generation thousands of years later?

Nah... your question isn't that difficult to figure out. You are asking where's the Scripture evidence that "this generation" is meant specifically for the END of this world. No brainer what you're asking, so your little dance doesn't work.

You answered by telling me I must first understand your system of “signs,” Revelation 6, and the future Second Coming.

Thats not an answer. Thats the framework being used to redefine the words in front of us.

It is... an answer, and the correct one, IF... you'd bother to discipline yourself in study of Christ's Olivet discourse SIGNS with the Seals of Revelation 6. But all I'm hearing are excuses from you not to do that.

Show me where Jesus Himself changes the generation.

I mean really? Now you're trying to use some Star Wars type analogy that doesn't make sense? Get serious.

Is English your first language?

Jesus said "This generation" shall not pass until they "SEE ALL THESE THINGS", meaning ALL THOSE SIGNS OF THE END HE GAVE, THE LAST ONE BEING THAT OF HIS FUTURE RETURN.

Matt 24:33-34
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall
see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you,
This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
KJV

Anyone who understands English well knows the above "all these things" are about the very SIGNS Jesus gave there at the Mount of Olives, the last SIGN being that of His FUTURE COMING and gathering of His Church.

The Scripture is EASY. But YOUR agenda against what Jesus said there is OBVIOUS.

Davy, now we need TWO Book. Chapter. Verse answers from you.

#1. Where does Jesus say “this generation” means a generation thousands of years in the future?

#2. Where does Jesus say that after one supposed “this generation” dies, the prophecy can simply be reassigned to the next generation, and then the next, and then the next? We absolutely need confirmation from scripture on that. That assumption is bigger than the Grand Canyon.

Because picture Grandpa Walton in 1929.

He’s 77 years old, supposedly having been an 11-year-old drummer boy in the Civil War, sitting there with his Scofield Bible shouting:

“WE ARE THE GENERATION JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT!”

Then Grandpa Walton dies.

His children say:

“No, WE'RE the generation!”

Then they die.

His grandchildren say:

“No, WE are the generation!”

Then they die.

His great-grandchildren say it.

Then their children say it.

And now here we are in 2026, nearly a century after Grandpa Walton was supposedly screaming that his generation was “this generation,” and people are still saying:

“No, THIS is finally the generation Jesus meant! See, we're getting more technology now so that makes it all true.”

generation dies → next generation inherits prophecy → whatever tech is novel in that era becomes the fresh proof that THIS time the claim is finally correct.

That's not “this generation.”

That's a very dangerous perpetually transferable generation.

So show me both:

Book. Chapter. Verse #1: Jesus moves “this generation” thousands of years into the future.

Book. Chapter. Verse #2: Jesus authorizes that generation to keep moving forward every time the previous one dies.

Where are they?

Otherwise all you're doing is going:

“LOOK!!! THE SIGNS ARE ALL THERE! CHEWIE IS GIVING THE WEDDING ADDRESS! HAN AND LUKE ARE THE BEST MEN! YOU’RE STARING DIRECTLY AT THE WEDDING AND STILL DENYING IT! ARE YOU BLIND?!? HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE IT?!?”

while still never producing a single line from any George Lucas script that says this scene below was a wedding...
because the wedding exists only inside the framework you brought to the scene.

Even worse, you then criticize us for ‘reading it plainly’ when we point out that it’s just the end of the movie and nobody even got married.

mtrzwch08ajd1.jpeg

And underneath this entire three-ring circus sits the catastrophic Christological problem: if your system can only survive by making Jesus mistaken about the generation He Himself identified, then your system has made Christ fallible. And if Christ is fallible and can be prophetically mistaken, He is not the Son of God.

That's how serious that is.

Luke 21:24 Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Done! Israel recaptured Jerusalem in 1967!

Luke 21:32
32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.

Guess where Jesus will return. Jerusalem, Israel, the Mt. of Olives! Dead ahead!

I asked for two verses proving the doctrine you keep calling 'biblical truth.'

Not twenty, not a dissertation.

Two.

Your answer?

“WELCOME TO MY IGNORE LIST.”

That response speaks volumes.

You weren’t asked for Scofield, Darby, charts, notes, or commentary.

You were simply asked:

WHERE DOES THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAY IT???

And apparently that question is so dangerous to your theology that you have to block the person asking it.

That's not confidence.

That's intellectual panic with an IGNORE button.

You didn’t ignore me because I couldn’t answer you.

You ignored me because you couldn’t answer me.

Two verses requested.
Zero verses produced.
Ignore button pressed.

That's not a defense of doctrine.

Thats the false doctrine collapsing the moment Scripture is demanded.

May Jesus, God of Israel, King of the Jews bless you, in the Name of Yeshua!
Oh, is He not God of the Gentiles also? He is King of the Israel of God......which is His spiritual kingdom made up of both Jew and Gentile. Israel after the flesh rejects Christ as King.

Beware of the Temple when it is built.......the Lord showed me a very strong seductive spirit associated with it. That will be the strong delusion, I believe.

Is 66:3-4

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

I also will choose their delusions
, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Sadly they are going to double down on their rejection of Christ by resuming animal sacrifices - in face of Jesus' sacrifice, that will be an abomination - the Lord no longer accepts animal blood. Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots....double unto her double. And in Isaiah it speaks there too of Israel having to pay double for all her sins. So I believe it is going to result in judgment again, like in 70AD. Along with any Gentiles being unequally yoked with them.

Computer, please show me what a dangerous, perpetually transferable ‘this generation’ eventually becomes. What does that look like? And please explain the danger itself.

"Once “this generation” is detached from the generation Jesus actually addressed and is made permanently transferable, every new generation can be told that their wars, their disasters, their political crises, and their enemies are the final prophetic signs.

Then prophecy stops restraining fear and starts feeding it.

A war is no longer merely a tragedy to prevent. It becomes “necessary.”
Escalation becomes “prophetic.”
Catastrophe becomes “inevitable.”
And eventually even nuclear destruction can be interpreted as something that must happen because “God said so.”

That is why a perpetually transferable generation is not harmless speculation.

It creates a theological system in which every failed generation can be discarded, every new crisis can be rebranded as fulfillment, and every future catastrophe can be baptized as destiny.

Different era. Same claim. Higher stakes.

And if the system can never be falsified because “this generation” simply gets handed to the next generation forever, then the prophecy is no longer controlling the interpretation.

The interpretation is controlling the prophecy."

I don't see it as being perpetually transferrable, but that it's for the end when God judges the WORLD (nations/Gentiles) which He hasn't done yet, but I think most of us believe it is not far away now.

Rom 2:8-11

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God. (as He has judged the Jew/Israel, He will also judge the world/nations/Gentiles at the end of the times of the Gentiles).

You just denied the generation is transferable and then immediately transferred the expectation to your own generation -
“most of us believe it is not far away now.”

Thats exactly the mechanism.

And Romans 2:8–11 doesn't say Israel was judged in AD 70 while the Gentile world waits thousands of years for a separate fulfillment of Matthew 24.

It says God judges Jew and Gentile without partiality.

Everything after that - “Israel already judged, Gentiles later, end of the times of the Gentiles” - is just your framework being laid over the actual text.

Book. Chapter. Verse.

Show where Paul says those are two separate judgment programs separated by thousands of years.

I’d say “I’ll wait.”

But I’d be waiting forever, because it isn't in there...

"This generation" is limited to the one that will see all of the signs of Jesus' return:

Lk 21:31-32
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

We known it could not refer to the generation of 70ad because Jesus has not yet returned

You just assumed the very thing you were supposed to prove.

Luke 21 does NOT say:

“A future generation thousands of years from now, when THEY see these things…”

Jesus says:

“WHEN YE see these things…”

Then:

“THIS generation shall not pass away…”

And just before that:

“When YE shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies…” — Luke 21:20

Read the words.

YOU see Jerusalem surrounded.
YOU see these things happening.
THIS generation will not pass until all is fulfilled.

And your answer is:

“Well, it can’t mean them because my theology says Jesus hasn’t returned yet.”

No.

That's not exegesis.

That's your system grabbing Jesus by the collar and telling Him what He was allowed to mean.

You decided beforehand that the “coming” must be thousands of years away, and now you are forcing “this generation” to crawl forward through history until it fits your doctrine.

Jesus never said:

“Not your generation.”

He never said:

“A future generation.”

He never said:

“The generation that sees all the signs two thousand years from now.”

Those words are not there.

So stop pretending Jesus said them.

Book. Chapter. Verse.

Show me where Christ moves “this generation” away from the men standing in front of Him.

You can’t.

Because Luke 21 says the exact opposite.

answer NEVER, it is still to come to pass....just like "this generation" is.

You’re not giving me context. You’re handing me your system’s prefab conclusion, stapling the word “context” to it, and expecting that to settle the argument.

Luke 21:27 says:

“then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”

Fine.

But your argument is:

“That has never happened, therefore ‘this generation’ must be future.”

That is dangerously circular.

You first assume verse 27 means a still-future physical return, then you use that assumption to redefine “this generation” in verse 32.

The text itself says:

“when YE see these things…”
“THIS generation shall not pass…”

So the question is not whether your theology says verse 27 is future.

The question is:

Where does Jesus Himself move “this generation” away from the people He was speaking to?

Show me the verse.

Because “I know this part is future, therefore ‘this generation’ must also be future” is not context. That’s the trick your system uses to smuggle the conclusion into the text. That's how the three-ring circus ends up with Princess Leia married to Chewbacca.

It's your system's conclusion being used to control the text.

And saying “you can’t hear it” doesn't solve that problem.

Book. Chapter. Verse.

Show where Jesus identifies a different generation. >

Spoiler alert, He never does.

Not to mention that your system creates a Christological five-alarm fire, because we’d have to accept that Jesus Christ misled the very followers He was speaking to; or else that He was simply mistaken about His own prophecy.

Either way, you have made Christ fallible.

And a fallible Christ who can be prophetically mistaken is not the Son of God.

Of course He is God Gentile Christians. My comment was intended for those who deny that Jesus is God of the Jews. There are some here who curse themselves and their families by speaking against Israel. They need pulled from the fire!

You're referring to those who forsook God. Many Jews still love God! And many more will soon.

Ezekiel 11:17-20

17 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel." '18 And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there. 19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Do you know where Jesus will return to destroy their enemies. Israel, the Land of the Bible. Anyone who speaks against Israel is under the curse of God.

Zechariah 14:1-4
1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, ...
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; ...
3 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

Show where Paul says those are two separate judgment programs separated by thousands of years.

I’d say “I’ll wait.”

But I’d be waiting forever, because it isn't in there...
It says the Jew/Israel would be judged FIRST, then the Gentile (world). Has God judged the world yet?

It has always been about the Jews/Israel who are of faith.......like the faithful forefathers beginning with Abraham.......they are the Israel of God. The tree that we Gentiles have been grafted into is the Israel of God, not Israel after the flesh. Because "They are not all Israel who are of Israel"....as the bible says. "Israel after the flesh" is by definition unbelieving Israel. Any time a Jewish person comes to faith in Christ they no longer belong to Israel after the flesh, but the Israel of God.

We are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.......that includes unbelieving Israel. Friendship with the world is ENMITY with God.
