1 John 4:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Revelation 13:18
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Instead of pumping up the Antichrist in sensationalism, you ought be asking yourself how it is that the whole world (except Christ's elect) will worship him as God.

Rev 13:4-9
4 And
they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
KJV

2 Thess 2:3-4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
KJV

The sensationalism about the coming Antichrist being some meanie world leader that will wield power over all nations like with a sickle and hammer, may sell newspapers and novels at the local Christian bookstore, but it is just a fabrication by men, and not what God's written Word reveals about the Antichrist.

The coming Antichrist will come play our Lord Jesus Christ, in Jerusalem. That is actually what the word "antichrist" in the Greek means, i.e., the 'in place of Christ'.

He will be the Messiah which most all religions have been prophesying to come. And Jesus showed he will work great signs and wonders to deceive the whole world with.

Daniel 8 with that Antichrist as the "king of fierce countenance" that rises up will destroy many using PEACE, not war. And CRAFT will prosper by his hand. That means he will give the deceived who bow to him in place of Jesus anything they want; pay off all your debt, new car, new house, whatever you want. Will that be enough for today's materialistic society to turn to him and worship him? Yes, it will. SCRAP ideas that he is coming to power using war and is coming to murder everybody.

I've often wondered HOW the antichrist comes on the scene in the first place. Antichrist means "instead of Christ". It seems to me that the modern, recent advancement of AI is going to be a factor somehow. Could it be possible that he uses the AI platform, amidst all the problems that have arisen lately, and the calls for a worldwide political union of some sort, so that all countries agree to aid in controlling it?

I was intrigued by the verse quoted above where it stated "...there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things....". Just WHO do you think gave him this power, and what circumstances are present when this happens? I believe that the bible teaches that this "beast" is a real, live person, who is controlled by Satan himself. The bible also teaches that he will erect an image of himself and demand worship—and that the image will somehow appear to be lifelike.

This is just my opinion, and I have no scriptural basis, but perhaps the world will need a technological genius to come to rescue all of us from the possibility of extinction by some rogue AI agenda, as some have suggested, (of course Christians know that this won't happen). According to Hal Lindsey's book that I read about 60 years ago (some have scoffed at this book), the antichrist will come on the scene as a great, real, charismatic person who is loved, at first, by the world and is hailed as a hero. Also, the bible predicts, if I read it correctly, that in order for this to happen, there must be a worldwide political system, which fits with what I've said.

What are your thoughts?
