Wheres your evidence? No you wrongly divided the word of God by adding only! No one can add to the word of God, especially when it changes the meaning of a passage!
I'm questioning you.As to your first question- What did Paul say in 1 Cor. 1:17- Jesus did not send him to baptize! why do you question what god inspired?
The gospel is belief and baptism, Matthew 28:18-20 ; Mark 16:15-16,As to teh 2nd part- in context you would understand. Paul taught many things, but before he taught those, He saved people with the gospel message only!!
- And Jesus said u to them,
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,
he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned
Paul preached Jesus' gospel.
Wheres your scripture? And teh Baptism that saves is the Baptism in the spirit which happens the moment one trusts in teh death and resurrection of Jesus for their sins.
I've heard this from men but when I ask them to quote the Bible teaching this.Water Baptism is for believers only! Not one getting saved but one who is already saved.
I never get a Bible verse from them.
Only Bible verses on baptism that teaches what baptism is for,
are ones of salvation.
1Peter 3:20-21,
...the antitype, baptism doth also now save us...
