No you wrongly divided the word of God by adding only! No one can add to the word of God, especially when it changes the meaning of a passage!
Wheres your evidence?

As to your first question- What did Paul say in 1 Cor. 1:17- Jesus did not send him to baptize! why do you question what god inspired?
I'm questioning you.

As to teh 2nd part- in context you would understand. Paul taught many things, but before he taught those, He saved people with the gospel message only!!
The gospel is belief and baptism, Matthew 28:18-20 ; Mark 16:15-16,
- And Jesus said u to them,
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,
he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned
Paul preached Jesus' gospel.

And teh Baptism that saves is the Baptism in the spirit which happens the moment one trusts in teh death and resurrection of Jesus for their sins.
Wheres your scripture?

Water Baptism is for believers only! Not one getting saved but one who is already saved.
I've heard this from men but when I ask them to quote the Bible teaching this.
I never get a Bible verse from them.

Only Bible verses on baptism that teaches what baptism is for,
are ones of salvation.

1Peter 3:20-21,
...the antitype, baptism doth also now save us...

Wheres your evidence?
Go back and look at your posts! Only does not appear in any greek manuscripts- you added it! That is all teh evidence I need.
I'm questioning you
My answer is the same as Pauls!
First off- that passage is questioned as it does not appear in the oldest manuscripts.

That Baptism is the Spirit baptism.
Wheres your scripture?
1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Not water but the spirit.

Mark 1:8
I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Acts 11:16
Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
I've heard this from men but when I ask them to quote the Bible teaching this.
I never get a Bible verse from them.

Only Bible verses on baptism that teaches what baptism is for,
are ones of salvation.

1Peter 3:20-21,
...the antitype, baptism doth also now save us...

1 Peter 3:21 King James Version

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Belief comes first which saves then baptiam after one has believed.

Remember if baptism is essential for salvation then Paul would have added it in his requirements for salvation- but he didn't and you shouldn't either!

Eternally Grateful

Before you post criticisms of my teaching.
I want you to read the WHOLE article I've posted.
Your objection is explained in the article.

FYI, there are no English bibles that do not add words to passages.

First off- that passage is questioned as it does not appear in the oldest manuscripts.

That Baptism is the Spirit baptism
Mark 16:15-16 says exactly the same as Matthew 28:18-20.
Nothing but the gospel of Christ.
Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Not water but the spirit.

Matthew 28:18-20 is the great commission, Jesus' gospel.
Water baptism not Holy Spirit.
Since you brought up HS baptism as the gospel baptism.
How many have you baptized with the Holy Spirit?
- Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of etc....

Belief comes first which saves then baptiam after one has believed
Quote a passage that says this?
What the bible actually says,
1Peter 3:21,
- baptism doth also now save us
Acts 22:16,
- and now why are you waiting Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord

That's Paul being saved by Jesus' gospel.
Remember if baptism is essential for salvation then Paul would have added it in his requirements for salvation- but he didn't and you shouldn't either!
Paul said his sins were washed away in his baptism.

I want a passage that teaches baptism is for those already saved?

Acts 2:38,
- then Peter said unto them, repent  and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins

Where does the Bible teach?
- repent for the forgiveness of your sins then be baptized because you are already saved?

Please be wise rather than unwise picking words out of context to the scripture, and 'twist' to your unlearned preference, thank you.

Christ did not send Paul to baptize because baptism was already in place way before Paul, from John the Baptist to Christ, to the Apostles and church.

Nevertheless, yet Paul did baptized a few, meaning water baptism is required as part of the salvation order, proclaimed by Master Jesus Himself (John 3:3&5).

You're a lamb still taking on 'milk', unable to comprehend 2Timothy3:16&17 as a man of GOD, as what you've brought to the table is the fruit we know or comprehend in the spirit.

'You will know them by their fruits.'

If you're going to be rude.
Rude?

Apparently it's just another 'twist' and 'deviate' method of yours, since in my given post you've been refuted of your false claim.

Proven, Apostle Paul himself confessed that he water baptized a few even naming them and concluding he know not of any one else that he baptized. (1Corinthians ch.1)

And there's no concrete account that Paul water baptized the 'many', when 'Paul was occupied with the word', hence Silas and Timothy joined him. (Acts ch.18)

Plainy merely is written that, 'And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized'. (vs.8)

Why not consider according to the wisdom given from above that probably Silas and Timothy, even probably believers with them, baptized the 'many'.

Besides all of these above reasoning, the accounts of Paul ministering to the Gentile Corinthians and them baptized in the book of Acts is prior to the letter written when they've been established as church.

As per the letter which came later to the church, Paul himself verify the number of people he personally water baptized and they are 'few', since the Corinthians ministry from Acts.
Why would I want to have a conversation with you?
Sure no need, because you're proud to admit you were wrong and merely moon walk out the door to escape.

Me as merely a servant, just want the scripture and it's sound doctrine to be the truth, and not cause any of GOD's innocent lambs and sheep to astray.

Period.

John 3:
5. Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of GOD. ..........."

Acts 2:
38. And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 3:
21. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to GOD for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22. who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of GOD, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to Him.

Matthew 16:
17. And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My FATHER who is in heaven.
18. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loose in heaven."

Quote Paul saying he only baptized few during his missionary ministry?
1Corinthians 1:17,
- and I also baptized the household of Stephanas besides I know not whether I baptized any other

Do you think Paul has a terrible memory?
By your interpretation he must if he only baptized a few people during his missionary journey.

The correct interpretation is Paul baptized many Acts 18:8 and that is why he dosent remember them all.
