Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

I really doubt that the Lord, who created male and female in His image, and who is also called El Shaddai (breasted one) wants us to be misogynistic. Female traits apparently have value in His sight. Jesus welcomed and included women in His circle and the things He did, in a society under the Law that treated women as second class, or having no class/value at all. It happens that some of the characteristics that make us women also at the same time make us vulnerable in certain ways, and so we need covering/protection for those things..........not disparaging and mocking.

Yes, women are the weaker vessel. But keep in mind that it is because our feminine virtues make us that way. All part of God's perfect plan. But that in no way gives anyone an excuse to be misogynistic either, or to put down womanhood in order to play up to someone. Jesus was not misogynistic.

As for new age hyperfeminine things.....yes that is wrong. But hypermasculinity is not the answer either. Seems to me that God made men and women to complement and balance each other out.

I don't know how you think of it, but the word "office" (Greek - praxis) in new testament is simply the work (function) of a spiritual gift.........it isn't talking about an "official" role in a formally recognized kind of way, but is talking about a spiritual gift and its particular work as opposed to other spiritual gifts.

Romans 12:3-8

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.


I believe women can exercise their gifts (offices) in simplicity as the Spirit unctions/leads, without usurping authority over men......it doesn't seem that Paul forbad women speaking entirely, because it seems clear from at least one other passage elsewhere that women prophesied in the church as well as prayed out loud. Spiritual gifts are given to women as well as to men, but as long we remain under authority.....that seems to be the main difference.
