It seems you have an audience and I hate to disappoint you, but Peter had Ananias and his wife killed, and Saul tried to wipe out the church.
Jesus didn't come to punish.. at that time.
Let's revisit the question after he returns.
:D
Hugs
This is very concerning ...the direction of thinking of religious Trump followers. This sounds psychopathic to twist scripture to justify bloodthirst.

Gen 14:14
And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
Gen 14:15
And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
Gen 14:16
And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

Gen 14:18
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
Gen 14:19
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
Gen 14:20
And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Gal 3:7
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

If it's ok for Abram to save his family, even to the point of going to war, then I believe the same applies to the children of Abraham.

There is a difference between physical warfare and spiritual warfare. The NT is concerned with the Spirit.
That doesn't negate the fact that sometimes you have to go to war to save the ones you love.

Right Abraham?

Polygamy and animal sacrifice were also practiced in the Old Testament.

Jesus explained very clearly how we must respond to enemies.

Read it and learn.

In the age of grace, we would rather die as a martyr, than kill as a warrior. A martyr is someone who wants to live, but will not kill his enemies to avoid being killed by them.

2 Corinthians 10:4

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

Jesus told us what to do:

Turn the other cheek.

Love your enemies.

Do good unto those who abuse you.

Pray for those who persecute you.

Resist not an evil man.

Blessed be the peacemakers.

Put away thy sword.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

We fight not against flesh and blood.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

My kingdom is not of this world, thus my servants do not fight.

Leveling entire neighborhoods, going in and raping, murdering, pillaging ...shooting children in the face .... that's not war, Ziggy. That's genocide. And it is EVIL.

Polygamy and animal sacrifice were also practiced in the Old Testament.
And some religions still practice it today.

When it comes down to Christians fighting with other Christians, I will always stand on the side that you have listed.
HOWEVER
When it comes down to the UNGODLY and UNSAVED trying to kill me or my family, I will always take the stand of self-defence with The Lord having my back.

You do it your way and I'll do it my way.
I have a 91 year old dad to protect, and believe me you, not one hair on his head would perish without a fight.
And if your life was in danger I would fight to protect it as well.
I wouldn't sit by and say, gee, it must be God's will they are dragging you screaming through the streets and ready to behead you with a machete.
Some people are dependable, others are cowards.
