well, "I came not to bring peace..." but anyway i gotta tell ya that practically speaking, like on more of a personal level, Catholics exhibit more grace in this area. i mean generally speaking, and imo.

i am learning from them right now, something quite pertinent here imo; to be tolerant of some turmoil, maybe even allow some in in the name of Charity or whatever. Where i am working here in Flint is like a House of Second Chances, and rooms are afforded to...difficult to house people, let's say. My best friend, a Catholic, runs it--not that the Catholic part matters so much, but he is, after all--and with all these "problem" people here that to me contribute nothing much to the program, and yet he is not all militant in running it, he's very understanding with them, and i am struck by the response. We're talking ex-crackheads here, like that.

and this guy is trying to bring up an Intentional Community, lots of work. It seemed like suicide to me to take on this Second Chances thing. I'm mildly Asperger's don't deal with stress too well, would tend to your perspective up there, iow squashing division etc, but the pooint i guess maybe i'm not getting across very well is how this inviting what i would call Chaos in and then watching these people transform mostly because of some gentle acceptance, warts and all, is a theme i have seen played out now several times in what i would call "Catholic" settings.

of course deliberate repeated instigators aren't tolerated for too long, but we don't see much of that anyway.
Be slower to impose control and quicker to be tolerant of some what you would term division, etc, in order to let it play out, that the fruit may be witnessed, iow, or that your influence might sway them, seems to be what they regularly shoot for. We kind of expect God will send us ppl that are going to be somewhat of a problem now, but that we might still be part of the cure, like that.

LOOK! The Bible says that there will be a resurrection of the Righteous and the unrighteous, the unrighteous are the ones like what you have described here, thee are many good people in the world that have never heard the Truth, that is why the JWs are so persistent in their preaching. The Bible indicates that these ones, and only God will know who they are as He can look into their hearts. these ones will be resurrected to the paradise earth and will learn of Gods Holy word. At the end of the 1000 years, when Satan is released all will be tested again and even the faithful ones may lose some of the people but the earth will be finally cleansed and Satan will be gone forever.
Much study has gone into the words of Johns Revelation, of which there were six visions. It was written in finality about 96CE so everything of prophesy is in the current era.

That is why we should not even consider judging people, but we can judge the failure of Christendom in bringing the truth to mankind.

I found the truth, His name is Jesus, in fact it was Him who found me. So i know your religion like all the rest is just one big fat lie. And I have had many a good conversation with JW's at my last Home, Always came to the same thing, " so than you must believe that Jesus has a "church' on this earth". I worked with a guy like that - he ran the Catholic Charities homeless shelter - the guy was a 'people before doctrine' type of Saint. Caring, firm and never gave up on people who the world was actively forgetting everyday. We worked with the same population and he taught me a lot

As I said. religion keeps people from God, one day you like so many will stand before Christ, and you will see all He had to offer while you where here on this earth, that you rejected so you could have your religion, as If mens doctrines are greater than Gods.

ha well i understand the perspective, but that is from a human pov, and i suggest that Established Christianity is a perfect manifestation of you reap what you sow, and the counterfeit always precedes the real thing simply because why work for the real thing if the counterfeit takes no work, and suits you ok?

how else we gonna ID those who cry "Lord, Lord" iow? Our churches have been judged and found lacking now, i guess, finally, so now a new counterfeit is going to be needed prolly right. Just when i got comfortable realizing that anyone who volunteers that they are a "Christian" a little too quickly is likely a danger, too. What will they call themselves now i wonder

so you say, but men follow after other men at first at least, and it also draws men to God. Anyone being kept from God by a religion does so willingly, right. So i dunno about all this judging religions, it ends up coming across as just another way to judge and seem superior, and another religion in the end imo.

So now you are surely tempted to ignore, belittle, and prolly not learn anything from anyone who says they are a JW or whatever, when you do not know what they will be tomorrow. They might have even already left JW proper and still just ID with them, or who knows iow, where an individual heart really is.
