isn't it good to take people who were otherwise fine and instill a fear of hell into them so as to get them to participate in your death-cult that cannot wait to die and go to heaven to be with Jesus? and get them to give you 10% of their income to boot?

Seriously bb, I don't see this happening.
I don't know anyone who wants to die and go to heaven.
Not NOW anyway.
I think people say things like this to encourage themselves not to be afraid of death.

Some are afraid of dying.
Some are afraid of death.

I'm afraid of the first
and sad for the second because of who will be left behind.

But we do have to find a way to be at peace.
Maybe thinking about the pretty flowers in heaven is a way to do this?

Me i am never right God is right Jesus is right teh Holy Spirit its right, if you want teh truth and desire it , than it can only come from teh one who is teh truth, Jesus Christ, He is not a moving target. They couldnt fit all Jesus did and said in the bible, how on earth do you think you can fit all of Gods wisdom and knowledge in it. Do you really think you can figure God out from reading a book??

no, but you can figure out a lot of other things, and the disagreement @ Jesus Christ tells me that He is quite the moving target, at least in a sense.

But really, i hope you see that it doesn't matter too much--you affirm the Scriptures whenever you quote them anyway, but it just makes you harder to understand

ha well in my experience if you are just standing around that rarely predicates questions about "what's up?" right
usually it is when you are doing something that ppl don't understand or are otherwise curious about that that question gets genuinely asked?

but really i would rather make the opposite point, that being that you should do what you feel led by the spirit to do, and i should be able to recognize that even if it is not what i might do in that situation.
