As much as sabbath day keepers keep reminding believers to remember to keep the sabbath day holy, no one will find any such reminder in the New Testament at all. Indeed, it is hardly an issue at all in any church of the N.T. and even for the 7 churches in the Book of Revelation.

Its absence should be telling how important reminding believers to keep the sabbath day holy is. No reminder; then no need to keep the sabbath day holy.
The NT believers did not need reminders because they were all keeping the Sabbath. It is the corrupted post-apostle church that needs reminding.

4 Why is the context of Isaiah 58:13-14 NOT speaking of the Seventh Day Sabbath but the First Day?
Seriously???

Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in YHWH; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of YHWH hath spoken it.
The context begins and ends with reference to the house of Jacob. YHWH was not telling the Jews who He was talking to to keep the First Day holy. The Jews knew nothing of such folly.

Let me educate you. In the Hebrew language there are three numbers. We only have two in the English language. The three numbers are singular, dual, and plural. Singular number speaks of “one,” dual numbers speaks of “two,” and plural numbers speaks of “three or more.”

When a Hebrew noun ends in “im” the plural number is indicated. In Genesis 1:1 it is said that Elohim, note the plural ending [im] was the creator, not just one, not just two but at least three are involved in the act of creation.

The verb however is singular “bara.” We might render it in this way...”In the beginning, God [plural] He [singular] created [singular] the heaven and the earth.” Seems like a contradiction, doesn’t it? If the subject GOD is plural, then the verb and inferred personal pronoun should be plural as well, according to the rules of grammar. In other words, in the beginning Gods “They” created the heaven and the earth.

The point is however that the Bible distinctly teaches that although God subsists in three different persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit yet He is still ONE GOD and NOT three GODS!

The opening of the Bible is of course not the only place we find this interesting interchange of combination between the singular and the plural. As in Matthew 28 and Genesis 1:26-27, and there are many more like examples. By your own admission you searched the Scriptures as the Bereans, yet in my estimation you have not really. I might as well add this passage: “It is the glory of GOD to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Tell me. Where in the Bible does it explicitly say that Dagon or Baal-zebub as being the same Elohim as the GOD of the Bible, subsisting in three distinct persons yet ONE GOD? Can you name the three persons in Dagon or in Baalzebub?

The Jews would not accept the gift. They put it from them. They turned away everlasting life by rejecting the Word of God (in this case the Gospel).

Aside from unsaved man NOT having the power to accept the things of GOD. He is also spiritually dead therefore he has no life in him. Jesus said: “He that is of GOD heareth GOD’S words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of GOD” (John 8:47).

Jun said:
We could render therefore Genesis 1:1 this way:
“In the beginning, the Gods created the heaven and the earth.”

Gadar said:
This is utter foolishness. The Scriptures teach monotheism, not your polytheism. "Elohim" is a plural word, but not always. When used of the one true God, it is the plural of majesty, not of number.

“Elohim is a plural word but not always??? Where do you read that and where do you read the word “Elohim” is indicative of the word “majesty?” Chapter and verse, please. Read my definition of the “singular” and “plural” concept above, it is not that difficult to understand!

Here is another of the singular and plural concept in Genesis 1:26-27, but I will speak about it later.
You can save this post for when I start a thread on Yeshua not being YHWH. I do not want to derail this thread any further.

Have you seeing Christ?? Well I have, and I got there, not because of any works, but simply because I believe. You are still insisting on the old covenant, everything you do is of teh old,

this bit

Luk 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

crazy thing is it was never yours in teh first place. teh old is all about the flesh, the new is all by teh spirit.

Act 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Act 2:12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Act 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

God bless

There is nothing wrong with having the Sabbath on a Sunday, God created everyday of the week, if you gotta rescue a donkey out of a pit on Saturday, then go do it. I have never came across thou must not do work on a Sabbath in the New Testament, this is the stuff Jesus challenged the Pharisees with, this is the stuff Jesus caused an uproar against the Jews with.

The Jews were furious and waiting for the moment to accuse him, when Jesus asked them "Is it not lawful to do good on a Sabbath?" He then asked the man with the withered hand to stretch out his hand, and Jesus healed the man's withered hand on a Sabbath. And the Jews sought and planned how they might catch and kill him, after that good miracle was done on the Sabbath.

First you spin your own nonsense; then you abuse Scripture to make it look like God spoke your nonsense.

There is no '~Greek word "heorte"~';
It is the singular of "heortes".

There is no Greek word '~feast~' Nominative or Accusative and no Greek word '~feasts~' Plural Nominative or Accusative,
"Heorte" is the common Greek word for "feast" as in Luke 22:1 referring to the "Feast" of Unleavened Bread.

there is only the Sabbath,
implied: through believers' (spiritual),
"eating and drinking" ['brohsehi kai posehi' (Nominative 'brohsis kai posis')]:
"either ['eh']: of Feast ['heortehs']
"or of month's ['eh neomehnias']
"or of weekly Sabbaths'(-feast) ['eh Sabbatohn']",
and thus there is only the Sabbath, mentioned as well.
You just listed "Feast" and "months". How can you say there is only the Sabbath? BTW, the Greek word "noumenias" means "New Moon" or "young moon", not "month's".

That isn't '~YHWH’s calendar~'; that's our calendar. There's no one who doesn't know that! And you, too!
Who do you mean by "our"? South Africa's? The United States uses the Gregorian Calendar which does not have month's beginning with the crescent moon.

Heb 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
Heb 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Heb 3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
Heb 3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
Heb 3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Heb 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

and so many are not resting, still walking in unbelief, you wont find unbelief in the law, but it today is the greatest sin of all, because it says, "I dont believe", if there is such a thing as a greatest sin.
Another recycled post.

Exactly.... It is made for us to rest. But in the New Covenant it does not matter if we have the Sabbath on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, for some Christians that work in restaurants and cafes, Tuesday is their Sabbath, Tuesday is their day of rest, and for a few they don't even get a day off, so the hours after work is their Sabbath. Some Christian contract workers got deadlines to meet and they gotta work through a Saturday, Christian nurses, paramedics have to save lives and attend to other urgent emergencies on Saturdays and Sunday's, someone's plumbing might burst on a Saturday, hey someone has gotta fix it. What about those struggling small Christian businesses working on a Saturday to feed their family. Or what if God commanded you go help out someone doing it tough on a Saturday?

Thank you Jesus, that Jesus has fulfilled the Law. :)

The New Covenant Sabbath is not bound by religious law, structure or procedure. :)

You answered well, so why try sound smart? Too clever for obedience or better, for just plain accepting faith in Truth? I'll tell you why, It's because you still interpret the Sabbath in no different way all legalist Sabbatharians do. See, you too like they REJECT the Substance and Truth which 'make the Sabbath', THE TRUTH AND SUBSTANCE OF: "THE SEVENTH DAY GOD THUS CONCERNING SPAKE: AND GOD THE DAY THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS, RESTED"-- rested IN, BY, WITH AND THROUGH, RAISING CHRIST JESUS FROM THE DEAD ON IT.

I did not get "certificate of debt" from Bacchiocchi, who is obviously correct if that is what he teaches. The NASB translates "cheirographon" as "certificate of debt".

Col 2:14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

I apologise for having been preposterous. I like your choice of translation.

If you say the "damning law" was blotted out, then you are proclaiming the end of the Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath, as well as the blotting out of the two greatest commandments.

Precisely! Just what I WANTED to say, state and prove. Now to understand what I say, say and THINK instead of '~the Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath, as well as the two greatest commandments~', and write and think and BELIEVE, JESUS CHRIST!

Simply because I met Him, and you know what I believe Him when He says he died for me and that it is "finished". as for smart men

See what I say, with no Scripture you have not met Him and you cannot believe Him for it is written faith comes by hearing = reading the Scriptures '~when He says~'. You aren't a liar, are you?

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

still hasnt changed to many smart people in this world, smarter than God apparently. and all I see is two men tying to prove how smart they are.

About you, mate, Rom 1:21 "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things", still hasn't changed to God's Law one bit since Paul wrote it.

What, do you have an issue with Jesus being our foundation, try building on anything else and you get forums just liek this one, filled with very confused people.

God bless

Our Savior is the Chief Corner stone, and no! I do not have a problem with Him as my Foundation, you seem to find anything to be Arbitrary about, and as far as confused, you seem to be like a ship on the Ocean out there all by yourself. BByrd was right you also seem to use Scripture that you pick and choose to fit what you believe.
