That's an excellent question. God began to communicate face-to-face with Adam and Eve after they were created. And it was God's plan all along to have fellowship (Gk
koinonia = communion, which includes communication) with mankind.
Since Adam and Eve severed that fellowship through disobedience, and God was not finished with human beings, He caused His plan of salvation to be written in a book, which all human beings could read, and thereby be saved. The ultimate goal of salvation is direct communion with God and Christ, face-to-face.
While the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek, the Bible began to be immediately translated as early as the 2nd century AD, and today it is available in every language. With access to the Internet by almost all people, it is now freely available to all. See Bible Hub. [
