Yes, excellent!! Thanks for the link...
I will ditto that. The irrational hatred against Trump shows that he is on the right track. But the Left has succumbed to Trump Derangement Syndrome. They all belong in a mental hospital right now.

Normally i tend to agree with your posts, Mayflower. The tone of this author is harsh and pandering.
I agree there are many people who hate Trump.....just like there are many people who hate Hillary. For this author to scold ‘trump hating Christians’ for refusing to work with him rings hollow after 8 years of refusing to work with Obama.

We are a partisan nation today. Calling out Christians for there partisanship is refusing to recognize valid reasoning behind how they have determined their point of view.

Personally, i refuse to adhere to an ‘ends justify the means’ morality...

1. Christians back Trump because he elects consevative judges
2. Christians back Trump because he fits their narrative of the end times
3. Christians back Trump because he sounds like a tough guy who will stand up for ‘whats right’

My reasoning for rejecting Trump is based on his Ayn Rand philosophy

1. He is morally reprehensible in his personal life and his dealings with others
2. He is a bully towards everyone he meets in his personal life and on the world stage.
3. He despises the weak and exalts the rich and powerful.

None of these attributes advances the Kingdom of God.

Hatred is a deep rooted emotion that can be felt across the nation right now. Hatred does not advance the Kingdom of God. I have felt it on Christianity Board a lot in speaking about President Trump and politics. I felt this was more low key in harshness compared to some of the things I have read and heard on the media.

This link from this article had things I didnt even know about President Obama. I heard a lot of hate and bad comments about him too, but nowhere what President Trump is going through right now.

America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President

I do not condone all of President Trump's attributes. But he has protected Christian rights. He is a business man and has done the things he has said he would do.

I post this for people to look at their own hearts and ask God how they feel about President Trump. For one, we do not want sin in our hearts, especially towards' leadership, but also, unless you have met President Trump, only God knows his heart. He needs prayer for conviction, just as we all have needed conviction of our sins in our life.

The President of the USA advances the causes of America (if he is a patriot). Trump is doing rather well in this aspect.

Christians have the responsibility to advance the Kingdom of God. Trump has never claimed to be a preacher or an evangelist.
