Or, it can be interpreted as, in Christ we are not under the law, are dead to the law, and are delivered from the law...sin is the transgression of the law...and where the law does not apply there is no transgression...and therefore we cannot sin because the law doesn't apply to us.
yes, that would be a lengthy way to restate choice 1 i guess

interesting opinion, but it won't pass muster imo, Christ Himself says different even?

When God looks at the heart and sees fear or love as our motivation, what do you think he prefers?

I normally respond to latter posts before I respond to the earlier ones; as a kind of self-fulfilled prophecy that the last shall be first and the first shall be last.

if you care about your soul at all, run from ppl who do not consider the law Holy as Scripture does; the minimum standard, and expect that grace requires even more than this at times, since the law is insufficient. Find out how your teacher interprets 1 John 3:9 Lexicon: No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
and run very fast from anyone telling you that you do not have to keep the law,
which these will not even be able to demonstrate, certainly not in front of a cop

also Christ was quite plain here, spoke on the subject more than once, also Paul.
run from the justifiers and those who add water to wine imo
not one jot or tittle
do what they command, even when they do not do it

find out who will be considered least in the kingdom for yourself

Those who do not promote legalism promote sin then according to you? Good luck keeping the whole law.

2 Corinthians 5:17 is the reason why we obey the law (refrain from sinning, since sin is the transgression of the law) as Christians.

The law is written in our hearts and on our minds in the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:4, Romans 8:7); and therefore it governs us from the inside. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5); and this is the fulfilling of the law (Romans 13:8-10, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6).

But the law does not have any power any longer to condemn the born again believer from the outside; for he is forgiven of past, present, and future sin (Romans 4:8, Romans 8:38-39, ("things present and things to come"), Hebrews 9:12).

Yes that is an interesting verse and concept. WADR is that not a description of the modern day church and what happens. The preacher man goes up on his raised altar and offers up the sacrifices of the people through praise, either of him or of God, and his faults/sins are exposed.

Lol..I do too only, just because it is easier to catch the ones I missed in that order. I like your reasoning better ;)

the first scripture (Matthew 5:18), declares that the law will always be the standard by which the sinner is judged. And it will always be there as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24-25). And also, for the one who is born again, it governs us from the inside (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:4, Romans 8:7).

But this is not to say that it has any power any more to condemn us from the outside (see Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4, Romans 7:6, Galatians 2:19, Ephesians 2:15-16, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 7:18-19, etc.). We are forgiven of our sins and Christ will not impute our sins unto us (Romans 4:6-8). Therefore the law cannot apply to us unto condemnation any more. Our sins are under the blood.

everyone's are, yes, but what that means is that you will not be subject to the law of sin and death as they were, iow you will not be stoned to death for your mis-statements here today like they would have been, and i won't be either
