Ever since the declaration of "Mission Accomplished" by those who see the bible as "the way, the truth, and the life"...the insurgency of error (or errorists) has been on the rise.

Just as Paul Bremmer confidently declared that everything he did was directed by the Lord (he did read the bible) so the depth of error and chaos has increased to the point of the rise of new evils like ISIS (Isolationanist Sects of institutional Slaveries). This and other such evils are a direct result of error...even as the well-intentioned bible opinions of our leaders takes us deeper and deeper into what we are told to avoid....in the bible.

This is about an "Enduring Freedom" from the bondage of this world.

But one would have to understand what KIND of life and freedom was being offered by Jesus in the first place if one was to seek to promote it.

Jesus said...

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."

Error brings death. Even well-intentioned error brings death.

Prov. 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

So then the war on error is a war on death. But we are not talking here of physical things....but of spiritual things.

Jesus came to bring us LIFE. His kind of life. Not as the world gives. Jesus came to restore us to fellowship with the Father. He came to give us power over evil and death...through a spiritual awakening and revival of truth.

There are so many ways to get the biblical message wrong. There are many opinions and interpretations and twistings of meaning that take away the life-giving power of the truth.

So then to begin the war on error we need to understand the intentions of God for His creation and what constitutes LIFE and the abundance thereof.

Your logic is flawed. In example, OT Israel had cults and error. In fact it got so bad God the forced Israel and turn to the gentiles.

The completion of the bible was in is not the problem. The problem is the same it's always been, sin nature.

The flawed logic is in giving the bible to flawed people with flawed thinking and expecting them to see their own way out of error.

The irony is that the bible is there to reveal our true state. So then religiously errant people will interpret the bible to support their religiously errant ways. Look at all the different interpretations that are foisted on the bible....and all the divisions that the bible supposedly supports.

Nonsense. It makes the bible that revealer of your spiritual condition.

...which others than yourself can see very well. It takes real humility to allow oneself to be revealed by the bible...or by others. What mostly happens with bible readers is that they justify their errors through the bible. They formulate a doctrine that supports a salvation status of their own design. So then the bible seems to support their error...or at least that's what these people think. The bible in fact goes far deeper than most people either want to go...or are able to go. So then what is being revealed is the shallowness of people and an unwillingness to come to the light.

Right now you are judging me through your personal filter.

You have to be willing to see what the bible says, swallow hard, accept it and grow.

That is how sanctification works.

We are talking of error on a biblical scale.
Literally.
It would seem that for many people the bible is not helping them. Rather than seeing something that is very miraculous and far...many reduce the bible to what they are already living. The things that are spiritual and inward are turned into regular outward things.

Just look at the craze for outward bodily healings.

There is this very errant group called "the last reformation" (as if the name wasn't presumptuous enough). Their human agenda consists of a "kick-start" program that gets people out of the pews and into the streets to pray for sore knees and elbows. There is no mention here of raising the dead or real miracles. NO, this is a feel-good program to get people to think themselves much higher than they really are...and this by preying on an unsuspecting public. They ask... .."can I pray for you?" If you respond in the affirmative they will do their prayer and then ask..."do you feel better?" If you say no....they will continue to pray until you say..."I feel better now" (even just to stop them from proceeding). They will take this as a miracle....when often it is just the person wanting them to stop embarrassing themselves. With this scheme comes teaching seminars...which they charge a hefty price for...so that after 2 weeks you can be an apostle or whatever and get others "kick-started".

This new movement is so bad that it has taken off all over the world (originating in Denmark I believe). A lie will truly circle the globe twice before the truth has a chance to put it's shoes on.

Actually you were refuting me with your own personal signature...which you aren't seeing. So you need to learn more about yourself and your own way of filtering the truth out of things.

Sanctification comes with entering into the life of Christ. HE is our only sanctification. What stops people from that is just a lack of faith. If you believe that God is waiting to fill you with His Spirit...so you can walk in the resurrection power of Christ...then you will seek Him for that level of walk. OR....you will make an excuse like you already have all the truth possible...or...that level of walk doesn't exist. Whatever the human mind can conjure up that keeps the truth at bay.

When has ever been different? Quakers, Dancers, Shakers, Laughers, Mormons, Christian scientists, Gnostics, JW's, utopians and on and on.

The bible says study, have faith and work.

What you're saying is not new. I've heard it many times. Sit back and let the holy spirit do it all for you.

Error has always been in the churches. But I am saying that it is getting worse and worse. As society drifts more and more into perdition...so the churches follow society down that same path. It's just that the religious rhetoric from these churches becomes more and more unbelievable. Soon the lies will be so obvious that the world will reject the churches...because they will have better discernment than those who are preaching salvation to them. In many ways...we are already at that point.

No...seek the Lord while He may be found. Receive power (grace) from on high....THEN go out into the world. Just like Jesus told His disciples to do before Pentecost.

This is the time of the great apostasy.

You seem to be obsessed was such as word of faith, name and claim it and faith healers.

Yes, they're out there. But there's other problems bigger than them in numbers. Catholicism being number one.

I'm not interested so much in all the errors that men make possible with their imaginations. This is about LIFE in Christ. Very few have experienced this kind of life....that is, life of the eternal kind. So THAT is what error avoidance looks like. It is too easy to disprove of one type of error while promoting another form of error.

This is a war on ALL error.

So then the way to spot a counterfeit is to know the real thing. If we walk in the life and power of Christ we are walking in God's salvation provision for all mankind. Any other kind of walk is in error.

To know the real thing meaningfully require sanctification. And that requires salvation, faith and study.

For an error to have real teeth to it...the devil must add in his power of deception. He has his experts weigh in on a lie so as to make it seem legit.

Now the devil can't stop people from making the first step towards Christ. But he sure seems to be able to limit the damage to his own kingdom by stopping them from taking another step.

How many people in the churches today believe that the first step towards Christ "saves" them for all eternity?

So rather than seeing the truth that the first step in our salvation is "redemption"....and one of many in the race of faith towards the full stature of Christ. ...many have been led to believe that any other step in the salvation process is based on "works."

The devil is against a salvation that works. And MANY Christians have adopted this error.

Salvation is a lot more than a first step. It is a race that is meant to be run by faith. If we don't run then we are disqualified from the race. If we draw back we do so unto perdition as it says in Hebrews.

There is no saved status...that once a line has been crossed we are saved forever. We experience the first taste of salvation as a free sample. But to obtain the full salvation, it will cost us everything we have. That free sample is good for awhile....but it is not meant to rest your laurels on. It is a gift. No one is justified by a gift. A person is justified by the right RESPONSE to the gift.

So if we are given access to the race of the high calling in Christ....then we ought to run to win.

The War on Error? You should start a church and call it "Mission Accomplished" :)
