That still doesn't say to force others (through taxes) to support causes you feel are important. There is nothing here that prohibits giving all of your own money that you choose to give to the homeless.
Personally, I'd rather see my tax dollars go to helping the poor. I always lived as Paul said; if we don't work we don't eat. But many are beyond being able to work.

You summed it all up with the very first word you typed, "Personally." Yes, it IS a personal matter, and we have no right to force our personal positions on others.

Abraham Kuiper explains that Jerusalem communism says "what's mine is yours." Modern communism says "what's yours is mine."

Stop the Barbarism, Brutality, and Murder of the Homeless

Many homeless people are below ground and above ground. The underground homeless need to be brought above ground.

Why?

Immediate shelters need to be built, for example, large tents conveniently located, at parks if necessary. Provide for them there: heating, cooling, food, drink, etc. If needed, bring them into school gymnasiums and indoor sports arenas for night shelter.

Why?

This is a Christian thing to do, and many might say a humanitarian thing to do.

Have you built a shelter, erected a tent in a park, provided heating, cooling, food, drink, etc. regularly with your funds, time and effort for homeless people?

Has your Church left it's doors unlocked, for the homeless to gather, sleep on the pews, use the bath rooms, does it have showers for them, and food in a kitchen area...as the Christian things to do?

But instead barbarism is practiced in America.

Barbarism? So it is the homeless people, you see as barbarians...not acceptable to what you think a community should be?

The homeless below and above ground are brutalized and murdered: stolen from, beaten, sodomized, raped, tortured, cannibalized, blood drained from their bodies and left to die, etc.

People who live in homes are brutalized, murdered, stolen from, beated, raped, tortured....etc. etc. also.

If the answer is to put such homeless people IN homes because of those things...
Should we also take people OUT of homes because of those things happening IN homes?

Current homeless solutions leave inadequate physical protection day and night. There should always be a 24 hour homeless shelter open throughout America with space available for walk in homeless people to rest, sleep, find shelter, and safety. And there should be oversight and video surveillance to resolve problems, to include sending the unruly to jail.

Are you oblivious to the numerous agencies and thousands of homeless shelter across the US?

Also, could you define "homeless"?

These solutions are not in use today because America, in practice, values barbarism, and does not practice Christian values or humanitarian values.

Holy Bible - Matthew 7:12 KJV
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Do "to" you. "To" them.

"Do unto others as you would have them do to you."

"TO". Sounds like you are promoting "FOR".

And you have not said what "homeless" means according to you.

Nor have you mentioned a single word of a Professed Homeless persons views.

Stop the Barbarism, Brutality, and Murder of the Homeless

Why only one "group"?
What about everyone else who is being murdered?
Do you have a solution for that, but to say, stop it?

God Bless,
Merry Christmas,
Taken

The current U.S.A. response is an organized effort supporting barbarism, brutality and murder of the homeless.

I have my own gym. It would be interesting to compare notes.....
I also have a small gym at home. But the "Y" offers about 50 different full-size machines and at least thirty different classes of all kinds, with instructors... AND an Olympic-size pool with a giant hot tub whirlpool. And, it is all included in my insurance plan.
They also put on all sorts of social events. And, a full indoor basketball court.

Personally i favor the Idea of Liberty...

Free to provide for oneself;
Free to go without;
Free to work and eat;
Free to not work and be hungry;
Free to pay for a home;
Free to wander and sleep in the woods;
Free to take care of oneself;
Free to beg the government to be your daddy.
Free for the gov't to demand I pay for another.
Free for me to say no.
Free for me to choose to whom I give with Joy.

Glory to God,
Merry Christmas,

Astounding how there is no shortage of men, deciding how an other should be compelled to spend their money, their time.

Good golly...should I be so "UNBUSY" to fill my time with "how to spend other people's money"......LOL

Where is that Scriptural teaching? LOL
Oh...guess would be, Political Science 101. Duh!

If you are here, yammering, where it does no good, you clearly are not out there where you claim so much help is needed. Turn off your computer and go downtown.
America has long supported barbarism, brutality, and murder. It's supporters are many. There are those who would want this evil stopped, and there are those who would not.
Micah 3:3 is a telling verse of the hidden motive of many for supporting the status quo of barbarism, brutality, and murder.
"3 who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron."

I am chronically homeless, with a smartphone, no computer, and I am currently led by the Lord to tackle a larger issue, as I have expressed in part in this thread.

Before tackling the larger issues, focus on coming out of homelessness, and settling down to a normal existence.

Being disabled is not the same as being lazy or milking the system.

No one can help anyone if they are not safe from foreign and domestic enemies.

Why not spend the money loving enemies instead of provoking them?

There is one thing wrong with the "Y". Twice, I have wracked-up my back because I jumped on more than I could handle, before I worked up to it and got my muscles in shape.
