That whole passage means that, for the first time in history, we are equal to Israel, in our standing before God, but our state is 180 degrees different than Israel's state. We now are NOT given ANYTHING that was ever given to Israel. Israel are "Not MY People" today, Hosea 1:9. Nation-wise, they are just another gentile nation like us. To be saved, they must believe that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and raised 3 days later. Just like us Gentiles. Pure Equality.

How many times have you heard the Lord would return within 40 years (one generation) of "Israel's" occupation of Palestine in 1948? And when that fell through, 40 years from the 6 day war? and on and on?

The Bible doesn't say four years it says the same generation that sees the restoration of Israel.

Generation has several meanings, as far as age span goals the current generation is 82 years, which would be 2030,

Going by prophecy I think the max of the 15 years, which would be 2033.

But that is my opinion not a declaration of fact.

All I do know is such as a millennialism is wrong on this issue.

He spent a lot of time condemning Jews who tried to force Mosaic law onto the church.

Covenantwise he was church.

Physically Gentiles are Gentiles. Spiritually they can be church.

I remind you here biblically speaking you are misusing Israel. Israel is not an individual, but a nation, and before the crucifixion a covenant nation.

From 70 A.D. to 1948 they were just Jews. Now they can be Jews in foreign countries or citizens of the nation of Israel.
