People calling you part of a cult does not make them jerks when it is true.
You could've started a thread discussed Mormonism, but didn't. So I did.
It should be clear that Mormons who are deeper in are less than honest about what they believe in.

And what branch of the cult which is Christendom i.e. Babylon the Great are you a member?
And don't give us that line about not belonging to any particular denomination or sect, because it doesn't matter whether or not one is a participating member of any organization but whether or not they profess the beliefs of said organization, whether or not they practice and attempt to preach their doctrines as you have often on this forum.
Whether or not you chose to accept it or not you my friend bare the mark of the beast both upon the forehead (the intellect, in your professions of faith), and upon the right hand (for it is with the hands that we render service) in this case when you help to propagate the teachings of the church nominal.

Mystery Babylon is not Christian.
I do not profess the doctrines of any denomination. There is fault in all of them.
No one has the mark of the beast yet. It is not given until mid Tribulation Period.
My doctrine during the Bible. If it is not in their it is not anywhere.
What Russell taught cannot be found in the Bible.

First of all there are no JW books pre-1900 they were not even in existence at the time, they didn't formed as an organization until 1931.

The forgoing is a quote from the website you refer, the first thing we learn from the writer is that he was an X-JW most X-JW’s after having had a bad experience with the organization develop a distaste for most other religious bodies. One would naturally think it strange if they didn’t, and most especially for any other body which shared some of the same similar beliefs as the one which they just left.
As for the quote: Our friend here most likely having previously been indoctrinated into the teaching of orthodoxy would naturally see anything taught in contrast to what orthodoxy teaches as error. One of two things is evident here either he wasn’t a JW for very long or he had poor teachers. Most of the doctrines listed are what we Bible Students define as first principle doctrines, doctrines which should, which must be properly understood if one is to progress from the milk of the word to meat of the word. The fact that he had not been able to grasps these basic principles implies that he either was not spirit begotten or that if he was he was merely a “babe” and still needed instruction.
We would like to say that in regards to the last point (underlined), the only ones presently who can lose their salvation at this time are the spirit begotten; those who have been released from the original sentence, these are the only ones presently on trial for life and as such subject to the “second death”. The rest of the world and this includes the mere nominal professing Christian have not yet been release from the first sentence, the first death and therefore are not subject to the second death. She never answers a question, just states another question. It’s kinda like ping pong
If you any person asks me about my beliefs and is honestly interested in the answer, I answer (preferably in a venue where we're not derailing another conversation). I don't bother with rhetorical questions.
When I ask questions, it's because I'm honestly interested in the answer and understanding what that person believes.
I'm not interested in conversations where people aren't interested in listening to each other (which is much "debate")
