This is something that I am getting a lot of understanding of this past year.....resting in Him brings such a peace in my life because I know He is working all things for good and I am no longer burdened with fear and condemnation because of my own wrong decisions I have made.

He was cut from the mountain (flesh) of this bright image in Daniel. but He was the Stone rejected by His own. A stone of stumbling.Luke 20:17-18
[17] And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? [18] Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

the mountain rejected the stone cut from it...a new mountain created in Christ at Ephesians 2:15-16 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Has the image in Daniel been slain? The new man seen as Christ(Mount Sion) which all nations must come to?

Hebrews 12:20-22

unapproachable...descriptive of ‘terrible’ and ‘to quake’ at the ‘brightness was excellent’ same as Jacob said of the house of God(unapproachable)...Genesis 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

But peace has been made in Christ. we come not to “And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:“

But to perfect love cast out fear of the unapproachable. 1 John 4:18

Excellent teaching here VIJ! These are things I can use and take with me and share with others.....I am so thankful that I was purged of the self-righteous mentality (I know more than you attitude) because it freed me to learn of others as well. I pray we always remain teachable!

Blessings in Christ Jesus! Hope all is well with you. So that you may understand, that table was overturned a little over a year ago. So it(your life) is not fixing to turn around, it started back then. And yes, the difference between our will, and His will will be done, is shocking for all who witness it. It is like night and day. I too will pray for this forum for I see a lot of good members here.

Indeed, I understand the talents from God as including all that we are given by Him. This would include place of birth, education, above average brain ability, opportunity, time (allotted to each of us), good Christian parents... or the lack of each of these. What do we do with what we have or in spite of what we do not have? Is this not what our very loving and fair God uses as a measuring stick for each of us? Do we not usually as dwellers in a modern western nation have more available in the positive than a person of our age born in Haiti?

And what is expected. To me a talent is likened to a cup of crystal clear water that The Lord has given me. Throughout my day, many will drink from this cup, and yet it is never empty. I can not help but give a drink to all that thirst, for freely we have received, and freely we give.What amazes me the most, is when I am not paying attention, the cup is filled to overflowing, which explains Davids words "My cup overflows".

Amen Sister! I believe it too....my spirit is restless with anticipation of something about to breakthrough....an Awakening!

Not long ago I had a dream that I was swimming in the ocean with my granddaughter. I was holding on to a wooden table that had 4 wooden legs and it was flipped over with the legs sticking up....as I was there holding onto the table watching my granddaughter a shark leaps up at my face and in a split second before it bit my face off I breathed on it...my breath was so bad that it caused the shark to swim away. I swim back to the beach and everyone was staring at me in shock...then someone handed me a mirror and there was a scar that looked like a shark bite...but it never bit me.
I asked @Hidden In Him If he understood the meaning of it...and basically he said tables turned means my life was fixing to turn around which is a positive thing!....so it all lines up with what I have experienced this past year and what I have seen in my spirit and what I have been dreaming and what He has said to me.

There is more than one mountain, is there not?

"For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

And the other mountain...?

"Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King." Psalm 48:1-2

And the sea itself is NOT living water for men but it is defiled or poisoned water. There is no Life as God counts Life in it.

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." Rev 22:1-2

Over a year ago I had a vision where I was sitting at the edge of a field and the grass was so green and it had never been walked upon by any human or animal. On the other side of the field was a mountain and at the top of it was a cloud that covered it and you couldnt see the mountain peak because of it.
I knew I needed to get to that mountain but I couldnt cross the field until someone who was anointed to walk with me came along.
Still waiting on the meaning of this vision...
