Romans 10:1-3
[1] Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. [2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. [3] For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Agree. There is he who exalts himself. Or those that wait upon the Lord. 1 Peter 5:5-8 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. [6] Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: [7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Anyone who declares himself as righteous and saved is in trouble with the tribunal of Christ. Better to say...I am an unprofitable servant. There is actual wisdom in that.
Besides I look back at my life and see God in what I was doing. It wasn't me....it was Him. He gets the glory...not me. He is just.
