You, many of you, so completely prove my point.

When you run out of answers, when you are not willing to address my arguments, then you make it all about disparaging comments against me as a person.

I see it all the time.

It's too bad.

Much love!

Foreknowledge is not just merely knowing ahead of time. It’s God’s way of electing the lost sheep to Himself.

Really? No its not. Its knowing ahead of time.

I gave you an example for the Bible that refutes that definition.

Much love!

It’s a verb. It’s God doing something. Whom He foreknew, foreknew being a verb, means it’s not mere knowledge, but Him electing sinners.

Why not if y'all go back and actually address my posts instead of deflecting away from them?

But I know why.

We have torn down your house of cards theology. Why tear down what’s already been torn down?

That's right, a verb.

To know, is a verb. To know in advance, still a verb.

But the meaning is just that, to know in advance. That's what the word says, that's what it means, and that's how it is used. Word substitution is not, to me, a valid method of Biblical interpretation.

But that's just me.

Much love!

But it’s more than just knowing beforehead. Words have what is called a semantic range.

Actually I'm taking this thought from quite a number of verses.

Let's see the one you are referencing:

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

This sounds rather inclusive to me.

?

I don't know why you bother Mark..these two are among the most unfriendly and disagreeable posters on the Site bar one... don't waste your self on them.
I apologize for them ..so sorry.

They say God saw who would and who wouldn’t and elected accordingly. That’s their (twisted, warped, grotesque) view of election. If God had to see this, then He didn’t know this. Another attribute they have taken from Him. Hey, He’s looking more like molech by the second.
And the other thing? God knowing all who would choose him, that he would pay their sin debt, also paid the sin debt of all others in hell. Hmmm. Double jeopardy, they're in hell paying a debt that was accepted as paid by the Son to the Father.

And yet we’re the disagreeable ones who defend God’s sovereignty over man’s. Oh the horror.

We defend God...not that He needs it...but we still defend Him. You defend man’s god of free will. But I’m the hater, right?

Your passive aggressive behavior didn’t go unnoticed.

@Preacher4Truth if we go with the flow, the flower power of God is love, that He tries His hardest to save everybody, that He loves all up until the day of judgment, then He changes that love to full blown hatred, we’d be the toast of the town here.

But they have God being mutable as He changes from love to hate, not biblically foreknowing them, but mere acknowledgement of their being, that He’s a really try-harder but can’t pull off saving them by Himself, but needs to gain their approval. It’s amazing how much their god looks exactly like they do.

"Come to Jesus by your own free will by faith!"

"Wait, faith comes from God alone!"

"OK! Well just come in your own free will then!"

"For what, they don't believe, why would they come?"

"Because they're able to!"

"But Scripture says how will they call upon him in whom they don't believe?"

"Stop with all this theology stuff! All they have to do is believe and then come in free will!"

"But belief, faith, comes from God. Why is it then, they come to God? It's because they believe, which was granted by God."

"Leave God out of this! We did it by free will, stop giving him all the credit!"
