Yup...I agree. See, we can agree on something.

We have to interpret Gods word correctly to know what is right. Can you interpret these 7 words and tell me what am I saying:

I never said you stole the money.

I can’t seem to remember what scripture this relates to.

I believe Christians that host the spirit of God present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he performs the only baptism necessary. I also believe that you guys performing water baptism on infants is not a bad thing, I don’t believe that this act accomplishes salvation, but I do believe it’s a pledge from parents stating they will make all efforts to lead their child to Christ.

And I’m sorry I said you were argumentative, and jello

Thank you. I appreciate you articulating your doctrine on this matter. I find it fascinating.

You asked me (sarcastically?) : This is interesting Mary, how many Christians have you baptized?

I answered you and asked you the same question.

You have not answered me. Why?

Grant it....You may have missed it since it was only one word: YOU?

PS: It is a divinely ordained symbol, though, part of what is expected for those engaged in local church activities: Acts 2.41-42.

I hope my mind has been shaped by who I have met here. As far as doctrine is concerned, this site has helped be grow spiritually by compelling me to research ideas i’ve read.

THANK YOU Aspen for sticking to the subject matter...and not trying to take over the thread with your own agenda.

Bless you...Helen

Soooo are you saying that water baptism doesn't fit the subject matter (Has anyone changed their mind...?) of this discussion? That is why you want me to stop talking about it and start my own thread?

Mary

YES!!

To answer the OP and subject matter all you need to say is. :-

< "Nothing that anyone has said on this Site has ever caused me to change my mind on water baptism. " >

THAT would be an answer to the opening post. Changing your mind, is the subject. Not you trying to change others mind on what they believe on water baptism.

But no, true to form, you just keep on and on as you always do..post after post , arguing YOUR POINT on water baptism.

Amazing how Aspen just this moment posted and was well able to keep to the subject.

I asked you pages back to DROP IT, but you just keep on, like a dripping tap.

Just drop it now, as I said, or start it somewhere else.

My mind had definitely been changed. Prior to coming here(my first ever forum) I thought I knew a good bit about scripture. I’ve learned that what little I know would fit comfortably on the head of a pin.

Same with myself. It does get you into new territories to mull over, and sometimes, even back to the basics!

Agree.
It is good to cause us to get established in what we DO believe when we get challenged by others. :)

I too have learned /seen some scriptures in a totally different way.
Sometime a persons post will wear out my tiny brain...but I love seeing new depths of scripture. Someone said something the other day about Eden, which thrilled me...I had never seen it before...and I am old now, but started looking and learning at 22!!! I'm so glad that I can still learn new thoughts.

God's Book is so wonderful...there is never an end of it hidden depths. :)

Many blessing...H

Plus, I have also learn about myself...that I am NOT as patient as I thought I was!! :D A long way to go in that area. xx
