Only those confused about the day of Christ's coming to gather His Church don't know those are both the same trumpet.

With the seven trumpets they each brought something with them...a judgement - fire , hail , stars falling...etc ...( and seven bowls poured out) Rev 8

The last Trump = resurrection....

1 Cor 15
52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. "

No, they are not the same thing at all. :)

God bless you.

Can someone before I post, tell me the difference
The last trump is also called the trump of God or the trumpet of God. That is a trumpet to summon God's children to Christ and to Heaven. Trumpets were used for summoning Israel to gather together while in the wilderness. The same principle applies.

The 7th trumpet -- on the other hand -- is the final trumpet announcing God's wrath upon an believing and ungodly world. Therefore the seven vials of God's wrath are poured out after this trumpet sounds. Also it is clearly not called "the last trump" since it has nothing to do with the saints.

There are a lot of Christians who confuse these two trumpets, and thereby misunderstand what has been revealed.

In 1 Cor.15 where Apostle Paul taught the "last trump" in conjunction with the resurrection of the saints, he also did the same thing in 1 Thess.4 with "the trump of God".

BOTH Scripture examples involve the event of the resurrection. And the resurrection he was talking about is the resurrection of the 'asleep' saints on the last day of this present world. That shows those trump events are the same... trumpet.

John 6:44
44 No man can come to Me, except the Father Which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
KJV

Still not ready to give my OP but I have a question.The last trump that Paul spoke about,is the last of what?In other words what trumps preceded the last,and where can they be found in scripture.

Okay ,however if that last trump is for Israel,why is it the Church that's getting raptured?
The Church began with believing Israel and consists of redeemed Jews and Gentiles in one Body. See Ephesians. The Gentiles were grafted into "the good olive tree" of believing Jews. See Romans 11. The promise of the gift of the Holy Spirit was to Israel and Judah under the New Covenant. Gentiles were included within that promise by Christ, when He broke down the middle wall of partition at the cross.

So unbelieving Jew's are different than unbelieving Gentiles?

Okay ,however if that last trump is for Israel,why is it the Church that's getting raptured?

Because BEFORE the End of Days Tribulation;
SOME MEN, have already become PREPARED;
TO BE RISEN UP, and NOT subject to Gods end of days Wrath;
They having BEEN;
Forgiven, for having had Disbelief.
Saved, restored soul
Quickened, spirit born of God
Bodily dead in Christ
(THEY become, body, soul, spirit lifted up Above the earth, and Meet Jesus in the Air).
(They shall RETURN to Earth WITH Jesus)

Others DURING the Great end of days Tribulation; WILL BECOME PREPARED.
First those WHO, believe IN GOD, but NOT Christ, suffer the Wrath of the Lamb.

(Particularly those from the 12 Tribes of Israel)
Shall be SENT, 2 Profits, 144,000 to TESTIFY the Gospel Truth of Christ Jesus.
Shall ALSO Become in Belief IN Christ;
Shall be Forgiven for not having believed.
Shall be Soul, saved
Shall become Bodily dead, KILLED by the armies of the Anti-Christ.
Soul and spirit raised up to Heaven.
Body raised up (changed) (on earth) incorruptible at the LAST TRUMP.
(THEY shall SEE Jesus descending from the Clouds TO Earth).

ANY others DURING the Great end of days Tribulation; MAY Become PREPARED...
Suffer the: Wrath of the Lamb, (SEALS)
Suffer the: Woes of God, (TRUMPS)
AND...
Shall (IF they HAVE NOT taken the mark of the beast) also have opportunity;
to BELIEVE;
Be Forgiven;
Be soul saved;
Be Killed (by the anti-Christ's army)
Be Raised up (bodily Changed) at the Last Trump. (spirit quickened).

Others Who take the MARK of the Beast, ARE those who REJECT Belief in God, in Christ...
And shall NOT be forgiven.
Not soul saved.
Not spirit quickened.
Not bodily changed.
(Bodies eaten by bird, soul goes to hell to wait for judgement)

Others WHO come into belief in Christ Jesus, (particularly) (Jews), during the tribulation, but DID NOT, become BORN AGAIN....Remain ALIVE in their Mortal Bodies, and repopulate the earth, during the 1,000 year reign.

Thereafter there is the Day of the Great Judgement of ALL men....

It is DIVISION that has been happening from the beginning of mankind...from the moment Eve turned her attention to EVIL.
Eve was tricked into Believing she would Become like God, by Disobeying God.
Eve reached out her hand and TOOK the forbidden fruit.
Eve opened her mouth and ate of the Forbidden fruit.
Eve gave the same to Adam, and he did eat also.

Division of MEN with God and MEN against God has occured from the Beginning.

The ENDING is ALL about SEPARATING the Divided WITH God, FROM the Divided WITHOUT God.

Men do not ALL believe AT THE SAME precise time, nor are ALL men Prepared;
Forgiven, Saved, Born Again, Called unto the Presense of the Lord ..at the SAME precise time.

Men IN Christ, are Christ's Church and are Fully Prepared and are RISEN FIRST, BEFORE the Wrath of the Lamb...(Seals).

Glory to God,

YES.

Jesus said...
Believe IN "HIM" AND IN "HIS" Father.

Gentiles who (typically identify themselves as Christians...) BELIEVE IN BOTH;
God and Christ Jesus.

Most Jews believe, ONLY in God, and reject Jesus as their Christ Messiah.
( a Few Jews believe in BOTH, and identify themselves as Messanic Jews)

Glory to God,

Yes, They are to be more severely Judged, because they have the Scriptures and they continue in rejection of Jesus.

But to address the OP; Paul says in his prophecy of 1 Corinthians 15:50-56, that the Last Trumpet will sound and the dead will rise and those alive then, all those worthy of it will receive immortality and Death will be no more. This cannot happen at any other time that the Great White Throne judgment, AFTER the Millennium. As described in Revelation 20:11-15 & 21:1-7
The final Trumpet of the series of 7 Trumpets, that will happen during the last 3 1/2 years of this age, just marks the announcement of the coming Kingdom and the wipe out of those who conspire to oppose it.
Then the 7 Bowls are poured out, culminating in the gathering of the worlds armies at Armageddon. Revelation 16:12-18

There aren't a bunch of successive trumpets sounding for the event of Christ gathering His Church. That's another one of the made up stories from Jews heeding Jewish traditions.

Who said that there were a bunch of successive trumpets for the Church? The only trumpet is the last trump which is the trump of God. And if there is a last trump there must have been a first trump somewhere at sometime.

And who is talking about Jewish traditions other than yourself? Just making things up as you go along.

You did, you white-washed wall...

You said:

The subject was the "last trump" vs. the seventh. Both... are the same trumpet, just as the "trump of God" in 1 Thess.4 is the same one.

But the pseudo doctrine you believe, says the trump Paul taught in 1 Thess.4 happens PRIOR to the tribulation, while the last trump of 1 Cor.15 happens with Jesus' coming back at the end of the tribulation.
