Golly, that was a long article. But I read it.

I guess they were and are getting everything signed that they can sign,,,"for later use".

One wonders how many other thousand law have been signed that we don't know about.

But, let us remember that Haman in the book of Esther also signed a contract...but God over turned it.

I still believe that God looks after His own.

"Let God arise and His enemies be scattered."

I thought the same thing Helen - these laws and all the intricate paperwork and lengthy documentation using legalese is hard to decipher - the powers that be can literally slip anything in between innocuous-sounding laws. But this was the first that I've heard of an actual law permitting the government to kill christians - so one wonders what else is tucked in the reams and reams of documentation.

It was Bush "Dubya" that signed it. I knew he was no Christian. When we were in church after Bush Sr. died our pastor asked the church to pray for the Bush family "because they claim to be Christians." Nothing that Dubya did was "Christian." He continued horrible wars - blowing up and maiming innocent children. American soldiers raped the women in many of those countries - including children. He sent off young American soldiers who came back destroyed - including a family member. He sat in his well-appointed office, with servants at his beck and call. He ate the finest food, was chauffeured everywhere, and had the best medical care money could buy at the same time he was destroying others' lives. Not one Bush served in the military but they had no qualms sending other Americans into battle. I told our pastor that he was no Christian and he said nothing. I'm just surprised at how much evil someone can commit in plain view and have others swallow the lie that they're a "Christian." I think there is widespread lack of discernment. Charles Manson wore a cross. Does that make him a Christian too? Madonna claims to be a Christian. "Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord..."

You have a good point - Esther is a good example of how God overruled the plans of the wicked. I always turn to that story in times of extreme need: we see how Esther turned to fasting. The issue that I always struggle with is what our responsibilities are as opposed to God's. Don't you struggle with this? I'm still trying to figure out what responsibilities God wants me to assume and which to leave to Him in response to everything going on in the world right now. I know one thing He wants us all to do is evangelize and I've returned to that. It does give me a small measure of accomplishment - that I know I'm doing at least something.

I know that God has to be working and just like He heard the cries of the Israelites, He's heard our cries. It's the waiting and the waiting and the waiting that gets hard and the feeling of wanting to do something that I guess I'm dealing with. I think sometimes when we're troubled by what we see it helps to have an outlet and I haven't found an outlet yet. I see where others such as Pastor Bradley Dean created his own alternative news and you can see his convictions come out in his writing. But it's like we're the Titanic heading for the iceberg but we know already that there is a huge hidden part of the iceberg waiting to tear the side of the ship open. We see it coming but we aren't doing anything. I'm still in the stage where I'm trying to discern what God wants us to do - if anything.

I see 'Chicken Little' is foaming at the mouth again. I swear, that woman must be scared of her own shadow... everyone she knows seems to be out to get her.

Just because you are paranoid does not mean that the world is not out to get you. Just kidding. Christians do not need to get paranoid, nor get involved with paranormal phenomena.

The issue that I always struggle with is what our responsibilities are as opposed to God's. Don't you struggle with this?

Cant say that I "struggle" as such.

The things is, I try to stay in peace and listen to the prompting of God.
I have not heard Him tell me to 'move' or do anything. I just have to trust Him that if He wants to direct me , then I will hear Him. Until then, it seems pointless.

I do believe that at some point we will hear the Trumpet call and know it is time to rise up and be counted.

Until then, I find that I 'groan in the Spirit'. - "Oh Father, Thy Kingdom Come". Prayer is what we do have.

I hold my breath at telling God what I want Him to do.
I used to...I used to believe it was faith to ask God to do thus and so.
But we are only seeing one side of the tapestry ( the muddily, knotty side) we don't see clearly the front side enough to direct God... I don't anyway. :)

I know what you mean ...the balance of -"Should I be doing something, Versus , Will I regret 'doing nothing'. Good question.

I just know I can't do what I don't hear. Neither am I sure that our 'doing' will change anything really. Which reminds me on the humorous side remind me of a poem by A.A Milne.

The Old Sailor

There was once an old sailor my grandfather knew
Who had so many things which he wanted to do
That, whenever he thought it was time to begin,
He couldn’t because of the state he was in.

He was shipwrecked, and lived on an island for weeks,
And he wanted a hat, and he wanted some breeks;
And he wanted some nets, or a line and some hooks
For the turtles and things which you read of in books.

And, thinking of this, he remembered a thing
Which he wanted (for water) and that was a spring;
And he thought that to talk to he’d look for, and keep
(If he found it) a goat, or some chickens and sheep.

Then, because of the weather, he wanted a hut
With a door (to come in by) which opened and shut
(With a jerk, which was useful if snakes were about),
And a very strong lock to keep savages out.

So he thought of his hut … and he thought of his boat,
And his hat and his breeks, and his chickens and goat,
And the hooks (for his food) and the spring (for his thirst) …
But he never could think which he ought to do first.

And so in the end he did nothing at all,
But basked on the shingle wrapped up in a shawl.
And I think it was dreadful the way he behaved -
He did nothing but basking until he was saved.

I have a dog in the fight - my family is inheriting this world. Aren't you concerned about what your grandkids are being taught? That our borders are unsecured and legislators aren't sealing it even as tons of drugs are flooding in? These things and more are deeply concerning. We just watched our neighbor's son taken out in a body bag. The drug epidemic hit our area hard - I lost count of how many kids from little league died of a drug overdose. We may think some of these things won't touch us but they most likely will at some point. I've had the veneer of safety torn off and have to live with the daily results of another's sin; sooner or later it comes to your doorstep. Just because you drive safely doesn't mean that you won't encounter Johnny on the road who just did a line a coke. It's obvious that manufacturing has been sent out of the country at the same time drugs were flooded in. Welcome to this who want you and your family dead.

You don't think the Noahide laws are legitimate? I found it hard to believe but then I saw that it was a legislator that blew the whistle. How do you think that it's paranormal?

Here is something for you Enoch - what do you think of this:

That was a cute poem.

I have that same exact feeling of "groaning inwardly" in the Spirit - it's a type of longing. I guess for that connection with God that we only have a foretaste of now.

I tend to be proactive. For instance, in our first house - everyone accepted that the road where we lived wasn't paved and we had to park our cars and walk a mile to get home. I scheduled a meeting with the mayor and passed the word to the neighbors - I didn't even have to talk; all the neighbors were so angry they exploded on the mayor - and the road was paved. I guess everybody else sat around in their living rooms waiting for God to pave the road:)

Listening for God is a hard skill.

Did you see the most recent music video she did? One of the prophecy alerts I subscribe to sent it to me - it was dripping with occultism. She wore an upside down cross on her cape. They said that the elite sometimes tell us what they're planning and allegedly it was thought that an attack on America was planned, as in her video she showed people wearing gas masks. I don't know how accurate it is but I sense something coming. I guess it's something like aching before a storm due to the change in barometric pressure. I'm usually the canary in the coal mine.

Just for the heck of it I looked to see and they have Noahide laws in Canada too: http://noahideworldcenter.org/wp_en/category/communites/canada/

It must be something the elitists are perpetrating.

Sovereign Grace I don’t watch anything by those harlots or their pimps, it makes me sick. When she disrespected our President that was it for me, she is evil and you can see her master in her eyes.

SG,
I am with you 100% (without becoming paranoid). Mr. Trump failed America by failing to build that wall within the first two years of office. In fact, it could have been built within one year. But the fact of the matter is that all the legislators as well as the president have failed to truly put America first. And this has a worldwide impact.
You don't think the Noahide laws are legitimate? I found it hard to believe but then I saw that it was a legislator that blew the whistle. How do you think that it's paranormal?
The so-called "Noahide laws" are a man-made invention, therefore not legitimate.

When you examine God's covenant with Noah there are really only three laws which are clearly stated: (1) all animals would be suitable for mankind to eat and this is not even a "law" per se (as repeated by Paul for Christians in 1 Timothy), (2) man must not consume the blood of animals (as repeated for Christians by the Holy Spirit in Acts 15 ), and (3) murder would result in capital punishment for the murderer (which was the law in the West until very recently).

GENESIS 9
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
4 But flesh with the life thereof,
which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

As to paranormal, I just threw it in since it rhymes with paranoid. But really Christians must never get involved with the paranormal.

I don't hear that often - yes you can often discern evil in ones eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul and one can tell a lot by the eyes. I never follow Hollywood either but I was sent the video by a prophecy alert.

Has anyone heard that either - that the elite are planning something? It kind of put me on edge between that and feeling like something was coming around the corner:

Madonna’s Performance at Eurovision with Rapper Quavo was an Occult Ritual with an Ominous Warning to every Living Soul!!

You think something is coming shortly too. What do you think of the Madonna video that some Christians are saying is a forewarning that the elite are planning something?
