What you need to do is to start reading your Bible without the added influence of the book of mormon and/or any other mormon books and/or materials...and really get to know the Jesus of the Bible, in contrast to the Jesus of Mormonism.

I will be praying for you that you see Him for who He is and receive Him once you get to know Him.

It is very serious...where you spend eternity is at stake...whether heaven or hell.
justbyfaith: I'm trying to think of something polite to say here, but... you've given me an extremely negative impression of you and your faith through this conversation, that I'm really am running out of polite things to say.

The irony in this statement is so extreme... yeah, there's nothing polite to say here.

justbyfaith, I know that you're trying to convince me that you're a true Christian and I am not, but this conversation has had the extreme opposite effect. No, I won't be reaching out to you for anything of God.

Being "polite" isn't going to get you into heaven...

The Bible says, "Be ye angry and sin not."

So rail on me if that is what you feel like doing.

(of course, that would be a sin)...

But feel free to express your anger if that is what you're feeling.

That is not what I am trying to convince you of per se.

I am trying to convince you of what is written in the holy scriptures:

2Co 5:18, And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Co 5:19, To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2Co 5:20, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2Co 5:21, For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2Co 6:1, We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2Co 6:2, (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now isthe accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Okay, now I'm going to call it a night, if you have nothing else to say.

Abba Father, I ask you to convict @Jane_Doe22 of preaching a different gospel, and I pray that you will draw her to Your Son Jesus Christ. Please Lord, just snatch her out of the fire and take her away from the poser that she's worshiping; and give her a living relationship with You even/and the real Jesus.

Jane, I leave you with this scripture:

2Co 11:6, But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

Matthew 6:5.

When you are willing to actually be factual, then come talk to me. You're just fighting against that pretend monster Chick told you about. It was downright silly at first, and the more and more you fight it... it was silly, then ridiculous, and now it's just delusional. You can waste your time with it, but I got better things to do.

Matthew 7:1.

Not all public prayer is Pharisaical.

But if I have already received my reward, then I have received the answer to my prayer; because that is the only reward I am looking for.

I suppose I should have sent you my prayer on a PM...my bad...but my only intention in making it public was to make it known to you.

Now, because you know that in all reality mormonism is classified as a cult, your only defense is to project your own insanity on to me.

So, since you have better things to do, I think this conversation is over.

I have made known to you what is my prayer for you; and I don't judge you for judging me over having made it a public prayer.

You have that which judgeth you: the words that Jesus has spoken, they shall judge you on the last day.

btw, when I prayed for you, I was sitting down. :eek::p:D;)

Thank you,me either.....
Just so you know, it is mormon doctrine that says that we pre-existed as spirit-beings.

I believe that even if you are not a mormon, you have been influenced by them.

Which is the reason why I said it in the first place in the context of this thread, that mormonism is a cult.

That won't be necessary.

For I believe that when Paul says to let those who preach a different gospel be accursed, it means that we are not to discuss doctrine with them, lest we become deceived by the very thing that they are also deceived by.

At the same time I do believe that the Lord would have me pray for your deliverance from false doctrine and that He might snatch you from the fire; which I have obviously now done...and have been persecuted for it also.

I would point out that if mormonism isn't another/different gospel, then one will get the same message as mormonism simply from reading the Bible.

And therefore it is not necessary to read mormon materials.

But if the insistence is that we read mormon materials, it should be clear that mormonism is a different gospel than what was once delivered to the saints (see Jude 1:3, Galatians 1:6-9).

2Ti 4:1, I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2Ti 4:2, Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3, For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4, And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

@justbyfaith: I'm going to be blunt here: you have been lied to about what I believe. And you don't care. You're unwilling to see fact, unwilling to pull off that veils of lies, because it is SO intertwined with your world view and discipleship of Jack Chick & ilk I'm not bothering for detailed responses, because it you blindly dismiss all facts and just call me a liar. I'm not bothering responding to attacks because it falls on deaf ears. And I'm not bothering to attack you beak, because I don't attack people. A disciple of Christ has nothing to fear from getting facts straight. And with every willfully blind comment and every berate you keep making here, it's bearing witness of how much more you need re-strengthening that bond with Christ. We all need our Savior desperately.
