I say this in light of the Scriptures. I have shown before that all races come from the descendants of Noah...Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Shem received blessing from God. Japheth received blessing from God. Ham received no blessing and his descendants were cursed.

Yet all the world is against Shem and Japheth. They elevate the 'race of color' as if they somehow depict such glory and honor. But, who is the prince of the world?

When God places His blessing upon Shem and Japheth, is it not surprising that satan would hate and bring the world against those of their race? And is it not surprising that satan would elevate the race of Ham, whom God has cursed.

As the title I have chosen says, the race question is indeed a Godly question. Are you brave enough to consider it? Or do you fold like a plant in the hot Texas sun.

The race question is A MOOT QUESTION in the light of the Gospel.

1. God regards all races as of being of "one blood" -- white, black, brown, yellow, or red.

2. God regards all humanity as descended from Adam, therefore all sinners in need of the Savior.

3. God desires the salvation of all men and does not elect some for salvation and others for damnation..

4. Christ OBLITERATES every kind of distinction within the Body of Christ -- neither Jew nor Gentile, neither male nor female, neither bondman nor freeman. Jew or Gentile is also a racial distinction (as well as a religious distinction). Therefore the body of Christ is shown thus:

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (Rev 7:9)

5. White racism is as evil as black or brown or yellow racism. And whatever is evil comes from the Evil One.

If it was a moot question, why did God make the races?

Yes all men are made of one blood. That doesn't take away the race question.

Yes, salvation is provided for all. That doesn't take away the race question.

Yes, the Body of Christ is made up of all races of people. That doesn't take away the race question.

If God made the races, and if God gave the prophecies concerning the races to Noah, (Gen. 9:24-27), then is not the question of race, a Godly question. Yet, as with yourself, racism is considered by all as evil.

In other words, do you believe the blessings given to Shem and Japheth? Do you believe God gave no blessing to Ham, and a certain people of Ham were cursed? And do you believe those blessings or lack thereof, and the curse have been removed?

To be honest, I don't have the answers to your questions. But what I can testify to is the delight and pleasure I experience in the holy Spirit when I witness the diversity of race and ethic background in the church I belong to and in the school I work for. The cultural mix brings challenges, but also richness. And that so many from different racial backgrounds have accepted the gospel and find fellowship together without any thought of bias or intolerance after centuries of conflict and justifiable resentments is a miracle that brings God glory.
And as an afterthought, that includes tribal differences within the one culture as well as past conflict between two neighbouring and very similar cultures such as had been the case between Samoans and Tongans... Christ is the peacemaker.

Without a doubt the Holy Spirit can overcome the division of race. But, that is the only way that race can be overcome as a dividing factor.

Yet ones race, even of a Christian, still divides. Just look at our political parties. The Republican party is known as the party of whites. The Democratic party is the party of blacks or people of color. Oh there are exceptions of course but it is dominated that way. Of the whites in the Democratic party, they are of the atheistic liberal left crowd. Of the white Republicans, they are of the Christian conservative crowd.

So, are Christian blacks part of the Democratic party? You bet they are. Why? Is it because they are atheistic, or liberal? No, it is because they are black. Do they revere MLK because he was such a great Christian? No. Because he was black. But they will say of course that he was a great Christian. But he wasn't.

White Christians support the conservative Republican party which is more in line with and accepting of Bible believers. They are considered white racists. Black Christians will support the atheistic Democratic party, yet they are not to be considered racists.

So, when one speaks of the joys of diversity and the richness of the cultural mix, it is always at the elevation of the races of color. Not the white race. The white race must be labeled supremacists. Yet the white race aligns itself with the political party of Bible believing Christians.

We are not told directly as to why God made the various races or ethnic groups. The only explanation would be that God has established variety throughout His creation for His own good pleasure. One only has to look at the variety of flowers or birds or animals worldwide to see this.
In other words, do you believe the blessings given to Shem and Japheth? Do you believe God gave no blessing to Ham, and a certain people of Ham were cursed? And do you believe those blessings or lack thereof, and the curse have been removed?
It was Noah who placed the blessings and the curses on His sons and their descendants (no doubt prophetically) in Genesis 9:24-27.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

The descendants of Ham (under the curse) are listed in the next chapter and have turned out to be primarily all the enemies of Israel -- the Arabs (Arabians, Egyptians, Syrians, Libyans (and other North Africans), Iraqis (formerly Babylonia and Assyria), and the Palestinians who descended from the Canaanites). Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia are also under "Cush". So one could say that the curse on Ham led to the control of Islam over all his descendants. But all curses are removed through Christ, so those who turn to the Lord are no longer under any curse.

One can also see that historically all these nations have remained backward, and had it not been for the discovery of oil, they would still be very backward. But instead of using their oil wealth to improve the conditions of their people they have squandered it selfishly and on warfare.

That would appear to be the main question. That answer of which, is He "works all things together for good for those who love Him" and His "strength is made perfect in weakness."

But I agree, it is a moot question...that is unless we also want to dwell upon:

Why did God make peacocks, clown fish, and some bears white and some, black, brown, and cinnamon?

Because the curse and lack of blessing and blessing by Noah still exist upon mankind. You see it today, but don't want to admit it.

O Gee, that is so funny. You're such a funny man.

Placing peacocks and fish in the same importance of man is what is funny.

You see, Christians all have their own way of avoiding the race question. They pretend it is not important. Only spiritual things are important. Yet it appears Jews are important to God. But not really they say. Because we are all Jews, they say.

What is behind white Christians wanting to pretend that race doesn't matter to God? Because they have bought into the world's gospel. Especially in the U.S, that is the gospel. Christianity is only real if all races are there in your church...that is if you are a white church. If you are a church of 'color' then your church is full of culture and all the glories that go with it.

That is not what God teaches in the Bible. But, since when does that really matter?

Your first statement does nothing but show how Christians, white Christians, hide behind their spirituality to avoid the race question. Because those of color are glad to see you hide behind your spirituality. So they will continue to exhalt that same spirituality as they take over what God has given you due His promises that He voiced through His servant, Noah.

The end result: The blessings and curses of Noah will follow. You the cowardly white christian, who act like it doesn't make a difference, will find that it does. You the racist black christian and those of color, who act like you have now gotten the 'dream', will find those prophecies still exist and are true, as that which you get control over turns into hell. Just like Detroit.
