Do you realize the two languages this song are sung in here do not actually say the same thing, even though the intent and the worship are the same? Do we hate these girls when their voices mean the same thing, but actually articulate different specific words?

Listen to this "two-in-one" melody. Please don't get pig-headed.... listen to it all the way through.

Had to pull the headphones out for that one. That was very very wonderful and a blessing! Made my day! Thank you. I need to look up the lyrics for that.

We are not enemies...…. unless we choose to find a religious reason to be.
Even so! Unfortunately, some people cannot discuss their opposed beliefs with each other without involving personalities and, yes, getting angry or being offended. Usually, if ever, it is not necessary to become enemies, even if we cannot be friends.

I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul's complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.
He lives, my kind, wise heav'nly Friend.
He lives and loves me to the end.
He lives, and while he lives, I'll sing.
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.
He lives and grants me daily breath.
He lives, and I shall conquer death.
He lives my mansion to prepare.
He lives to bring me safely there.
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"

Here's the Mormon song:
284 - If you could hie to Kolob

1. If you could hie to Kolob
In the twinkling of an eye,
And then continue onward
With that same speed to fly,
Do you think that you could ever,
Through all eternity,
Find out the generation
Where Gods began to be?

2. Or see the grand beginning,
Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation,
Where Gods and matter end?
Methinks the Spirit whispers,
“No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains,
Where nothing has a place.”

3. The works of God continue,
And worlds and lives abound;
Improvement and progression
Have one eternal round.
There is no end to matter;
There is no end to space;
There is no end to spirit;
There is no end to race.

4. There is no end to virtue;
There is no end to might;
There is no end to wisdom;
There is no end to light.
There is no end to union;
There is no end to youth;
There is no end to priesthood;
There is no end to truth.

5. There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.
There is no end to glory;
There is no end to love;
There is no end to being;
There is no death above.

and you might meet a lot less resistance.

Resistance is not necessarily a bad thing in my eyes.

1Co 16:9, For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

Up at the top of the page there is a menu of folders, one is marked "Forums" (plural). You have been posting on many of them.

Thank you for at least clarifying. The implication before was that I was posting at other message boards also; which I know I have not been doing for quite some time now.

So where do we get off blasting the Mormons for understanding that same LOCATION as simply being another planet,

Someone was recently saying that mormons don't really believe in that. Which one is it?

It appears that Willie T. is a mormon also. No wonder we got off on the wrong foot at the very beginning of encountering each other.

That was not an accusation--it is a fact, recorded here in hundreds of posts.

You are the accuser.
Now you are accusing me of being the devil himself. I at least have the decency to tell someone that they are merely taking on his nature when they accuse.

The posts that you are referring to can only be those posts in which I defend the faithful doctrine that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh; and also show forth that you are a false teacher for that you cannot confess this basic truth. You fail the test of 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7 in this.

I have not lied in any of this; and the record shows that.

If I am lying about your belief, then prove it by confessing now that you actually do believe that Jesus is a Man sitting at the right hand of the throne of God.

Even if you do do this, it does not change the fact that you wouldn't confess it before.

No, but I do not run down people I know almost nothing about. I decide things for myself. I don't just go by what someone else tells me I am supposed to believe and think.

Go look it up for yourself.

A quote to live by:
"I don't believe I like that man over there. I think I will go over and get to know him."
Abraham Lincoln
That's a nice quote for someone to quote, who wants to be a jerk to people and yet still have friends.

Then you will remain in the dull mental fog of only depending on how others decide to lead you by what they choose for you to know.

I would go by what Paul the apostle (through the Holy Ghost) tells me to believe and think.

He wrote:

2Co 11:3, But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Co 11:4, For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

and,

Gal 1:6, I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7, Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9, As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Consider that if the gospel of mormonism isn't a different gospel than the gospel of the Bible, that it was delivered a second time to the American Indians.

Yet the scripture says:

Jde 1:3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Therefore, since this precludes that the gospel of mormonism could not have been delivered a second time (if it were the same gospel as the biblical gospel); therefore it is not the same gospel: and therefore it is another gospel.

Simply not true...for the Bible is sufficient in its promises to give me everything that I need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4.

@ScottA told me that it was against the rules to talk about mormonism in "his thread" where the discussion had digressed to the subject; so I thought I would bring the discussion to my own thread.
mormons is a false doctrine based on works and degrees
