We have been studying this passage in our local church recently.

A narcissist needs to see that they have a heart that is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Been there, done that. Bought the T shirt. When one sees the depravity of their own heart, a YouTube doesn't come close to revealing much of anything. The Holy Spirit has this way of getting down to where the marrow meets the bone. I've already had way more than enough classes in Psychology to be dangerous, and I can assure you they don't go into nearly enough depth to be of much use; nowhere near as deep as God is able to penetrate.

But even then sometimes the truth can be found in man's own writings since sometimes people lie and tell on thier own selves. If you want to know the secrets of psychologist ..stay in psychology..how else you gonna get down to the truth.....and I don't think God reveals anything to anyone unless it's nesscary and has a purpose. God doesn't work out of the blue..everything he does has a purpose whether bad or good...and just because something starts out bad doesn't mean it was intended to end badly. Just like if something starts out good don't mean it will end that way. And God may know our hearts but no matter how tall you put your ladder i also know the Lord's ways, thoughts and secrets are far more higher and unreachable then anything a man could ever achieve in this world...but it's ok..I was just trying to help...sorry you didn't needed it

The wrong spirit means in effect, the wrong attitude. A person can say he is sorry for hurting you to satisfy the letter of man's law, but the tone of his voice and the expression on his face may tell you the truth of the matter.

I have eight years of college, and could have minored in Psych if I really wanted to. Psychology doesn't work for everyone. In fact, I see it doing more harm than good in a lot of cases.

For example, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders has been steadily growing over the years. It used to be a slim volume, but has become quite large as Psychologists come up with more and more names and ways to diagnose mental illness. Stamping someone with a mental illness is an incredibly efficient way to steal someone's entire net worth from them. It was a popular tactic in Nazi Germany, and is now making a comeback in the US as well.

It's a not so well known fact that almost every single mass shooting in this country was carried out by someone on some sort of psychoactive medication. The numbers of children that are being put onto these quite powerful meds, along with a concomitant rise in suicide is increasing at a startling rate.

They're able to help some people, but I don't hear or see a whole lot of success stories. A few semesters of intense study in Narcissism isn't going to reveal all that much more than the ancients already knew about Narcissus. I guarantee that their presentation is considerably more entertaining as well.

I never took any classes ..but have been on medication long enough to know it is dangerous and have spoke against it. I never said I was into pyschology either but sometimes to find out the truth about something you should become that same something and truth..it's the only way to discover a truth and discern the answers for yourself...and trust me I only speak from expierences.. if I wanted to learn about animals I would take some kind of class or maybe get a degree or job at the vetenerian. Or spend more time around animals. just like if I wanted to learn more about the planet Earth or space, I will spend more time up there etc. You can't always rely on books and what you read unless you are pertaining to examine them yourself. Stop relying on man made knowledge..it will get you no where but in a deeper place of deception. You don't have to study a lot of books and what not to learn about something just being around animals and people or a day in the psychs you could learn so much more. Not all branches of knowledge is valuable or accurate and it's most definitely not reliable to discover the truth. I barely read my bible yet I still learn stuff within myself and the spirit alone meditating God and his word on my heart..in all honesty there is one truth and that's Jesus..why you think I'm into psychology I dont know but luckily Jesus passes judgement on no one and is attuned and considerate of all things so I'm sure he wouldn't care even if I was. Either way I don't really care much about psychology but I have learned a lot being in pyschs offices one on one with psychiatrists and in and out of pysch wards..Jesus tells us not to pass judgement but the worst thing a person can do is pass judgement about someone on the internet. In all due respect you don't know me and I don't know you but I do know what I been through and is going through now. And I don't know if you are implying I'm a narcissist but even if I was I think I have the common sense and decency to not let my narcissism behavior go far and take it to Jesus so he could help me through it all. Besides all the BS I go through it wouldn't be no surprised if I had become some narcissist but I don't consider myself that, maybe I'm just a very bitter person now with a lot of problems and pain you would probably never understand..

How judgemental you are to quickly judge my situation knowing I'm suffering and dying now because my family is mistreating me and abusing me against my own freedom and will for speaking of having a life and attuning to Christ...you are not persecuting me now, you are just being purely judgemental which is pretty foolish since you don't know me period...but after reading that I rest my case here knowing how people think they are better then others in thier own brothers and sisters in Christ ..but it's people like you that help me think about life examine myself and grow in Christ more so I don't find myself becoming like you...
