I love the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte! I got some of their pumpkin spice creamer. That way, I get more for the money when I make my own coffee at home.Oh, well, my wife is into pumpkin flavour...

This is so true about Christmas carols and about hymns as well!Indeed.
I do think there is such a lot of Biblical truth in some well known Christmas carols, that it is a really good opportunity for the the truth to go forth at the approaching season...
Not in my opinion. I haven't honestly tasted one since a was still at home with my mother which was many, many years ago, but I disliked them greatly at that time. At my age I do little to break routines and not eating mince meat pies is one of them! Eating pumpkins pies whenever possible is another more enjoyable routine.I've never had mince pie. Am I deprived, or what?
Susan Boyle did a wonderful version of it too. This is the best rendition of Oh Holy Night to me I crank it and get chills. Anne Murray has a beautiful voice!
I love this traditional French carol too.
English translation:
Bring a torch, Jeannette, Isabella!
Bring a torch, to the stable run Christ is born.
Tell the folk of the village Jesus is born and Mary's calling.
Ah! beautiful is the Mother!
Ah! beautiful is her child!
It is wrong when the child is sleeping,
It is wrong to talk so loud.
Silence, now as you gather around,
Lest your noise should waken Jesus.
Hush! see how he slumbers; Hush! see how fast he sleeps!
Softly now unto the stable,
Softly for a moment come!
Look and see how charming is Jesus, Look at him there,
His cheeks are rosy!
Hush! see how the Child is sleeping;
Hush! see how he smiles in dreams!
Can you believe it, I never heard that? Thanks.Beautiful! This is my favorite song in French:
Il Est Ne Le Divan Enfant
Can you believe it, I never heard that? Thanks.
Here's something completely different; and I'm still waiting for my huuuula hoop.
Definitely deprived. Don't they do mince pies in the US?I've never had mince pie. Am I deprived, or what?
My husband doesn't like the either John, or Christmas pudding or cake. Not in my opinion.
