"Do I have to go to church?" No, of course not silly. You get to set your own rules, design your own worship protocol, then God has to submit. Forget all that stuff about how He seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and in truth, He was just kidding with you.

What has that to do with Church, do you know where JEsus assembled, on the Hill tops, in the valleys, on the beach, around a fire, even in the bars,
Yes he did...know where else?

Matthew 26:55 KJV
In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

Jesus was teaching DAILY in the Temple, which the day's equivalent to our Church.

No it is not, he was teaching in the Synagogues because that is what was required of Him as A jew, We are not Jews, we are supposed to be "Spiritual" not carnal like men. If people choose to stay away from Christ that is there problem.

Luk_13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

so many will be left out

I utterly disagree with Mjrhealth on this subject, but this kind of crap has to stop. It's really hard to support a side that resorts to garbage like this.
Yes the pharisees disagreed with Jesus, can you imagine if everyone followed after Christ, no churches no preachers no need to study and so many unemployed religious people, Christs church would be filled and mens churches would be empty its no wonder they wanted to kill Him so often

My point is that if your are going to talk about Jesus assembling on hill tops, beaches, bars, etc... Then don't leave out the fact that he taught daily in the Temple.

It's just many of the verses that endorse going to Church.

Faith comes by hearing and you can't hear without a preacher. That's what Paul told the Romans so it wasn't stuff for Jewish people.

It was required of Christ to teach in the Synagogue? First, that isn't where that passage said he was teaching. Second, you obviously do not know Scripture OR first century Jewish culture.

Oh ye we can

Joh 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

1Jn_2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

but I guess you dont believe in all that stuff do you. Following Christ being Led by the Spirit, whoda thought such a thing.

Rom_8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Now you are digging in the pooh, is that really all you can do. The vultures find an animal they think is wounded and peck at it one at a time in the hope that one will bring it down than they pounce, but we are not Alone.
I'm asking a serious question. When @FHII said he disagreed with you, your immediate response was that the Pharisees disagreed with Jesus. You implied that if someone disagrees with you that is the same as disagreeing with Jesus thereby making yourself equal with Jesus.

So what parts of Scripture do you believe and what parts do you reject?

@mjrhealth I am still waiting for how you get around Hebrews 10:25...
What part of gathering do you not understand,

Mat_23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

yet the religious today still lead people away from Christ and to church,

Mat 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Somthings will never change.

I guess I got your attention

Hmm you are getting Irate, I did no such thing so what is upsetting you that thing that Jesus said that upset the Pharisees,

Joh 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

I guess the pharisees will always be offended.

You have not dealt with Hebrews 10:25. If you knew the context of that verse you would know it is talking about going into the House of God. So again, deal with Hebrews 10:25. Stop trying to distract.

What makes you think I am irate? You are dodging the issue. And again, you have put yourself even in this post on the same level as the Pharisees. You are blasphemous and delusional. Though, I shouldn't be surprised. You think you were transported back in time to the crucifixion....
