GISMYS, you sound like a conspiracy theorist. Will you try and control your fantasies, and be more sober and restrained about trying to predict and interpret prophecy? You have such little grounds, if any, to make such dramatic and decisive claims. You're spending too much time and effort trying to read the signs and circumstances of the times, while disregarding their significance. If you understood the impact that these prophecies are intended to make, and the purpose behind their cataclysmic intensity, you will be less prone to be jumping to conclusions.

You need to quit it with the scare tactics to get people's attention and want to accept Christ....what they need to hear is about His Love!
And furthermore, God said He would restore His Church and Prophets and have a mighty outpour of His Holy Spirit and a great revival will take place with signs and wonders following the preaching of His Word.
Tell people the GOOD NEWS!

Not so fast. -- Scripture DOES provide the Year and the Feasts provide the Week which Jesus returns. And so Christians are INSTRUCTED to know the timing of that event per 1 Thess. 5 guidance. We just can't know the DAY or the HOUR.

Of course "false prophets" and "scoffers" work against what GOD has for HIS children by giving FALSE WARNINGS; and by denying literal Scripture.


It's too bad, but such is life ...

Unfortunately most people would rather be ignorant than informed. It seems that their "beliefs" (i.e., comfort zone/safe zone) are more important than what Scripture says, and they'd rather stop their ears and run away, than have a Scripturally Based discussion.

There are many who in the last days will be walking according to their own lusts, and will be asking the question, "Where is the promise of His coming? For everything continues as it has always been from the beginning of creation!"

But note that such people are motivated by their desire to continue in their sins of lust, to mock and disregard the statements in scripture that tell us of the imminency of the Lord's return.

Now I'm not saying that He will definitely return in our lifetimes; but I am saying that His return was close when the apostles first wrote of it. How much more is His return going to be soon now that we are looking at it from the perspective of 2,000 years later. It could be tonight!

Which is not to say that it won't necessarily happen 500 years from now.

Perhaps, you are to quick to judge those who are sick to death of @GISMYS_7 continual Rapture Ready Posts. He is posting a new one every couple of days where he is quoting some renowned "preacher's" words which points to an imminent rapture or saying that the people who do not accept his posts will suffer because of that.

I have learned to simply ignore what he posts. He has cried "wolf" like Peter in Peter and the Wolf story that no one now believes anything that he posts.

It seems to me that it's not the posters who contradict Scripture, as much as those who completely IGNORE Scripture. And yeah, they're the same part & parcel in the end, -- but it would be nice to see someone who actually PERFORMED to Scripture.

It sounds like you're denying Jesus' second coming will happen. As to the "they have been saying it for the last 2K years" comment, Jesus said: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." - Matthew 24:14. Our generation is the only one that could have fulfilled that Scripture since the advent of radio, TV, satellite, the internet and now smart phones came along all at once in this generation. Matter of fact, you can go to third world nations and they won't have food to eat, but they have smart phones in their hands; this Gospel is truly be preached in all the world.

That Scripture was fulfilled in Acts, if God wanted for Jesus to return in the second century, nothing prevented it.
Later, A LOT of false renditions of Revelation were introduced, brought in, made up, by those in the employ of the enemy,
and still continue to lead people astray today.
