I am not attacking you. Get that straight. History bores people so what they read and hear is not accurate one way or the other. As you move back in history the cruelty increases. It does not matter if it is the Catholics or the Israelites. By our standards there are a lot of horrors in the past. The Protestants do not have a lot of that in their history because they never really had any power. Historians will tell you that no matter what it looks like on the surface, it is not a simple thing.

Forgiveness is a tenant of Christian faith. Most Christians have some understanding that if you cannot forgive, Christ said that we should not expect Him to forgive us. That means if they cannot forgive they will die in their sins. I do not condemn the Jews or the Catholics. I am more concerned with what they are doing today.

Misrepresentation?? yeahhhh....how often has it been said here that it is the RC system that is the culprit....the people are pawns and are not blamed nor is it held against them.....yet it is put out again and again and again that the Catholic people are targeted. Henry VIII and his daughter Elizabeth I murdered over 72,000 Catholics. His Catholic daughter Mary, executed under 200 - yet in England, SHE is known as "Bloody Mary". This is a classic example of skewed anti-Catholic history.

I actually have read some of the writings of EGW the false prophet. She had the typical Protestant beliefs with their hatred of Catholicism and their comical understanding of prophecy where they shoe horn Daniel and Revelation into worthless historical ages. Some how she got it into her mind that the evil pope changed the Sabbath to Sunday and plastered this theme into many of her writings. Thus she condemned multiple generations of SDA to endless legalism where they try to make Saturday holy and keep the ten commandments. I actually feel sorry for SDA, I can't imagine growing up and living in that kind of darkness - it must be hell on earth.

Does everyone need someone not to like? To some degree that might be true.
I don't like commie democrats. Our country is under attack from the democrats...all of them. I don't see many of them standing up against Petty Pelosi so they are all enemies of the state trying to force some sort of weird form of new age communism on the United States.
