She's from Lafayette, LA. I heard her songs several times, and then on national radio one night I heard the name Daigle.
I thought "Daigle? That's a Cajan name..." Come to find out she's from my hometown and I didn't even know it, LoL.
A French name D'aigle = Eagle
I was not aware of her music until that video. The lyrics and music also if not mistaken, was written by Kathy Lee Gifford. In my view, Ms.Mullen was the perfect choice to deliver what is really a sermon of truth.Nicole C. Mullen is very distinctive, isn't she?
Good for a song writer to aim at a good combination of lyrics and musical presentation.I was not aware of her music until that video. The lyrics and music also if not mistaken, was written by Kathy Lee Gifford. In my view, Ms.Mullen was the perfect choice to deliver what is really a sermon of truth.
Perhaps so. Don't stop believin. ;)
@Hidden In Him Some of Stong's stuff is quite tuneful; the lyrics are sometimes variable.
I like the bit about losing faith in politicians... :)Always loved this song, despite some thinking it was sacrilegious. I think these words are why we need to be a light to the world; someone they can trust in the midst of a world where it seems there's no one you can trust anymore.
You could say I lost my faith in science and progress
You could say I lost my belief in the holy Church
You could say I lost my sense of direction
You could say all of this and worse, but
If I ever lose my faith in you
There'd be nothing left for me to do
Some would say I was a lost man in a lost world
You could say I lost my faith in the people on TV
You could say I'd lost my belief in our politicians
They all seemed like game show hosts to me
If I ever lose my faith in you
There'd be nothing left for me to do
I could be lost inside their lies without a trace
But every time I close my eyes I see your face
I never saw no miracle of science
that didn't go from a blessing to a curse
I never saw no military solution
That didn't always end up as something worse, but
Let me say this first
If I ever lose my faith in you
There'd be nothing left for me to do
I like the bit about losing faith in politicians... :)
