In Australia a majority of citizens voted for same-sex marriage in a plebiscite.
In that case Australians shouldn't complain if their country goes to the dogs. "As it was in the days of Noah" definitely applies. As to the death penalty, it originated in the Law of Moses. But the NT is no less severe. See Romans 1.

And I think they know it will be Just according to their black and white worldview so they are always trying to turn back the clock.

I really think the years between 1950 until Kennedy was murdered are remember as the height of white civilization and revered and constantly being recreates in the minds of conservatives who believe they deserve to live in that world forever
But yesterday is gone and tomorrow...? Tomorrow will never come. Today is all the time that we have! Night is coming!

i am not going to bother taking you though the Enlightenment Thinkers who crafted the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, who were all tired of the religious wars in Europe. Or the Masonic layout of Washington DC, which was consistent with Enlightenment Thinking of the time period.....or the Deistic doctrines of the Unitarian church, which counted many of the Founding Fathers as members, because you will continue to deny whatever fact interferes with your worldview; especially since you probably can't accept doctrines from denominations much closer to your own. You can lead a horse to water....

Because i couldn't been friends with someone who believes I am going to Hell and tells me so.
it dont matter what i say. what does the Bible say ? there life style is wrong and if they are looking for someone to say its ok. then dont look to me. because i am to speak the truth in LOve . as watchman we are to sound the trumpet that means warn the LOST.there is heaven to gain hell to shun .the homosexal lifestyle likw mnay other things is a sin

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that a landmark civil rights law protects gay, lesbian and transgender people from discrimination in employment, a resounding victory for LGBT rights from a conservative court.

The court decided by a 6-3 vote that a key provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 known as Title VII that bars job discrimination because of sex, among other reasons, encompasses bias against people because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

“An employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender fires that person for traits or actions it would not have questioned in members of a different sex,” Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote for the court. “Sex plays a necessary and undisguisable role in the decision, exactly what Title VII forbids.”

They even go farther and blame black people for making them engage in racist behavior - it reminds me of when a parent yells "Don't MAKE me come up there!"

If they only knew their place......then the White Privilege Class will not be exposed....and when they are exposed, their targets deserve everything they get.

Actually they do. The United States was founded on conservative biblical principles. And sexual perversion is STRONGLY CONDEMNED in the Bible.
The US is not a Christian theocracy. If the founders wanted us to be one, they could have easily made it so. Instead, through the Constitution they deliberately set the US up to be secular (hence things like a prohibition against religious tests for office).

Yep, and just like every other time when a minority group gains civil rights, conservative Christians stomp their feet and yell about how this will surely be the end of civilization.

I have always liked you my friend, even when a few times I could not espouse your beliefs on an item or two. God looks at the heart and that is where we should all be wanting to look. What can we see in another person? That which God opens to us.

In you there is something 'good' which means God is there at least in part also as He is the only One who is good!

right or wrong, all citizens deserve equal protection under the law. being fired for being a homosexual is wrong, just like being fired for being a Christian is wrong. It may surprise you, but when i am determining whether something is right or wrong, your name doesn't come to mind at all.

True but they do need some some law in USA to protect Churches and Christian schools and other religious places, that will allow them to be free in who they employ or not employ whoever they wish, or in a Churches case, to have the freedom of choice of who is put into certain positions.

I don't know if USA has such freedoms/laws in place for Churches, Christian schools, Synagogues, Jewish Schools, etc.

Even though I say that, if a homosexual man wants to work somewhere and wants to come to work in woman's clothing, and the boss does not agree with him dressing that way at work.

The boss has every right to tell him that's not appropriate to wear at my workplace.
