To the NEW BELIEVER... THIS is NOT how a Christian is supposed to speak to another Christian or anyone for that matter.
WE are called to RESPECT others.... puffing oneself up for the sake of over-powering and dominating is called PRIDE... and that is a DEADLY sin.
I think that is a Catholic thing... there are 7 of them.

@BreadOfLife ... I am telling the NEW believer to take note of the fact that as CHRISTIANS we are called to address ALL people with respect and dignity. Stating that this person is not a Christian does NOT excuse your response.... If this person is NOT a believer I would say... all the more reason to speak with gentleness... patience and humility.

It is YOU who has chosen to ENGAGE with them. It is you who claims to be such an upstanding Christian due to being Catholic.

Using your denomination as an excuse to be rude to someone is again... NOT the example you should be giving to a NEW BELIEVER.

My question to you is this.... Why would you think it is wise or remotely acceptable to come into a site that is Non denominational and flaunt the fact that you belong to a "superior" denomination ??? This is not productive... nor is it remotely CHRIST-LIKE... which leaves only the question... DO you come here to CONDEMN... or to bring with you CHRISTIAN HOPE ??
I’m not “flaunting” anything. I’m simply stating Scriptural, linguistic and historical FACT.

If that offends you – then the problem is YOURS – not mine. You’re new here, so I’ll tell you what I’ve told others:

- I’m NOT here to create threads on ANY topic.
- I’m NOT here to make friends and receive “likes” for my posts.
- I am here SOLELY to expose lies about the Catholic Church and set the record straight,‘

As for what you perceive to be the “unfair” treatment of @Truther – you haven’t been here that long, so you’re not familiar with his rude, dishonest and otherwise offensive anti-Catholic posts. If you don’t want people speaking to him in this manner – then maybe it would behoove you to speak to him and admonish him NOT to continue his campaign of nonsense. Anti-Catholicism may be just “peachy” with YOU – but it ain’t with me.

If you’re not willing to do that – then let him fight his own battles and mind your own business.

The New Jerusalem City was compared to a beautiful bride, not IS a beautiful bride.

You can't read a lick.

I get it, because my wife, looking like Farrah Fawcett, was led down the church balcony stairs with a spotlight on her in a large auditorium in her wedding dress, which I and the audience were taken back by.

The awe of the city can only be compared to the awe of a gorgeous bride on her wedding day.

I think the problem is, you need a wife.
I HAVE a wife.
But, unlike YOU – I don’t constantly compare her to Farrah Fawcett or anybody else because she was uniquely made for me by God. I have more respect for MY wife than to constantly compare her to a Hollywood celebrity.

I ALSO belong to the Bride of Christ – His Church.
Those of you who deny His divine nature are in for a rude awakening . . .

Matt. 10:33
“. . . but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.”

YIKES . . .

This is what the BRIDE of CHRIST looks like.

The “actions” that glorify our Father in heaven are those that bear much fruit (John 15:8). This is, in fact, how we show we are His disciples. Indeed, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—should be the hallmark of Christian behaviour, especially love.

I don't think the Catholic church is doing you any good.... Just sayin.

Actually... YOU are here to spread STRIFE and deliver CONDEMNATION.... Your ARROGANCE is OVERWHELMING.

You think you are defending the Catholic Church ???? Oh my goodness... that is very comical.
Anyways... I thought I would address some of your offences. Again... you do not intimidate me.
Your RUDENESS speaks volumes. The Catholic church is MOST GRATEFUL to you... LOL

I thought you were a priest(my apologies).

And yes, the Church of Acts is the bride of Christ, but the RCC is the bride of Frankenstein.

If you want to get in the Church of Acts then you must repent, then be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

This is the answer to "men and brethren, what must we do".

Not, get sprinkled as an infant without repenting.

You seem a bit grouchy today, my Roman Catholic compadre.

Good point. It's hard to be charitable in the face of Truther's venom. He is obviously far removed from Acts which he claims to be his birthright.
Truth is "venom" now?

Exposing everything I know about as a former Roman Catholic is "venom"?

I trow not.

And yes, Acts is my birthright.

I follow Acts exclusively, not creeds and commentary.

Your rampant paranoia aside – I’m not here to “intimidate” you or anybody else.

My position is simple: Post lies about the Catholic Church – and I will expose them.
It’s that simple. If you don’t want to engage me – then keep your lies to yourself. I’m only here to destroy lies about the Catholic Church. Think of me as the Catholic Terminator.

Remember – it was YOU who initially engaged me – I didn’t come to YOU. I get along with a lot of non-Catholics here because they choose NOT to lie.
The choice is yours – but as I have reminded your anti-Catholic comrade, @Truther – Cod has a Commandment against lying (Exod. 20:16) . . .

Again – that’s YOUR problem is you reject Christ’s Church – not mine.

As for your obsession with MY behavior – why don’t you give the same admonishment to your anti-Catholic friend, @Truther, who routinely spews lies and disrespect.
OR – is that only your style against Catholics?

You’re the epitome of hypocrisy – and this forum will not benefit by your posts until you deal with that . . .

No, just lies - like the ones YOU tell about non-Trinitarian Baptism and your "shepherd-phobia" . . .
Acts 2:38 is non trinitarian baptism?

Now you are beginning to get a peek at the Apostles doctrine.

Very observant of you....

Nope - Acts 2:38 is absolutely about Trinitarian Baptism,
YOU have perverted it to mean that it is ONLY in the name of Jesus and not the Trinity.

Ummmmmm, we've been through this - don't you remember, Einstein??

If Acts 2:38 is trinitarian, then why don't you say "in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins" when baptizing the fully repented newborn babies you sprinkle?

We don't "sprinkle" babies, Einstein. But, how could I expect a person as ignorant as yourself to know this?

We baptize them by pouring water over the head as prescribed in the first century document, The Didache (Teachings of the Twelve Apostles). If you could find me a verse of Scripture that shows another way - I'm ALL ears. Unfortunately for YOU - there isn't one.

Scripture is SILENT on the method of Baptism . . .

Not "grouchy" at all - just telling it like it is.

By the way - we're not "compadres". Compadre is a term that is used for a person who is the Godfather of my child or vice versa.
I would only have a Christian as my child's Godparent. Non-Trinitarians aren't Christians by definition.
