We love God because He first loved us 1 John 4:19.

This is the God of the Jews.
And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.

And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp. And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.

And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
(Num 31:9-18)

God is justified in His actions; as when He did not do the same and people of similar ilk survived, they led the people of Israel to sacrifice their babies to Molech. Therefore in doing this God was choosing the lesser of two evils.

So, lets all serve Allah,yes?

Not likely. God stopped Abram sacrificing his son, and commanded us not to kill (murder). You can go round killing people and little children if you want, but count me out. Keep the commandments.

Do not forget what Jesus said in John 8:44 and do not side with the devil.

If something needs to be done, God will do it, or chose an evil people to do it who are bound for Hell anyway.

Those who belong to Him, He will protect and keep safe, He will not send His children to Hell by telling them to do evil. Saying "God told me" is not an excuse for murder.

We Christians need to be a shining light, an example to others. Live the life.

That's right. Don't blaspheme God.
Live the Christian life and be a light for Jesus.

I am amazed. You spend hours talking about the deity of Jesus who said to turn the other cheek and spoke about turning swords into ploughshares, then you want people to follow in the footsteps of a human being called Moses. You tell me to read "Foxes Book of Martyrs" that records the killing of the disciples and other Christians by the Jews. Perhaps I should follow the example of Hitler as well, he said he was doing God's work, the same as Moses.

No. Revenge is MINE said the Lord. God is quite capable of dealing with mankind as we know from the flood.

Genocide is not on God's list of things for us to do. That sort of thing is the work of another.

God didn't force them to do that. They could have chosen to starve rather than commit such a heinous sin.
He has forced them:
Leviticus 26:27-29 And if ye disobey and resist Me in all these things, I will also resist you in wrath, and will chastise you sevenfold for your sins. And you will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.

Wow; just wow.

I still say God didn't force them to eat their sons and daughters. They did so because of their moral depravity.

Make the tree good and its fruit good or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad. That's all I have to say to you.

Jhn 1:11, He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

means that Jesus came to the Jewish people, who were His own people.

Jesus claimed to be the voice in the burning bush in John 8:58. The scribes and Pharisees understood His claim to be the God of the Old Testament. They picked up stones to stone Him for blasphemy (John 8:59, John 10:31-33)..

Why did they not receive Jesus?
Because they were serving another.

They picked up stones to stone Jesus to death because they served neither Jesus nor the Father. Instead, they served the devil and Jesus told them so, and people want everyone to turn to the god of the Jews! No way, but be warned, the deceiver is very active.

The scriptures you quote, and aren't they wonderful, tell of the love of Jesus.

As you will know from your work on the Trinity, Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings and God with us.

The gentleness of Jesus is a far cry from the violence and murder of the Old Testament, even in defiance of the Ten commandments, where every one of the commandments was routinely broken. So what was the difference? Jesus is LORD of LORDS and the word LORD appears frequently in the Old Testament. The difference is this, the Lord of the Old Testament was Melchizedek the king of Salem, but now Jesus is a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

The rule of Melchizedek, the Lord of Moses, the one who commanded all the dreadful violence, ended with the resurrection of Jesus who conquered death and hell. The physical evidence of this was the destruction of the Temple in AD 70. Now the Jews, and all of us have a new LORD, His name is Jesus, and we all need to turn to him. Those who do not, are left wandering in the wilderness, and if they do not turn to Jesus and accept Him as their LORD and Saviour and follow him all the days of their life, then they are condemned to eternal death.

May God bless.

I'm not the one who claimed he was the LORD, that was your claim.
Perhaps you prefer Yahhovah. if you look in Strongs you will see that the Yah (#H3050) means "god" and "Hovah" (#H1942) translates to "eagerly coveting, falling, desire, ruin, calamity, iniquity, mischief, naughtiness, noisome, perverse, very wickedness." This is the god of wickedness, Satan, the great deceiver who parades as the true God.

Then there is the true Jehovah who is Jesus and if you read the OT with that in mind you will see there are two G/gods as clear as day. One is the true God, and the other is the god of wickedness.
