Then let me be more accurate for you. The context of James 5:16 is talking about humans not anyone in heaven.
In the scriptures it says that there will be people who will believe a lie rather than the truth. These people will honestly believe that are living and believing the truth. Most people who are like this will take a scripture out of context and think nothing of it. They will also interpret scripture rather than believe what Gods Holy Spirit had written down. Just as I don't agree with people taking scripture out of context I care just as little about people's interpretations of the scriptures. Especially when what's written down in the Bible contradicts a persons interpretations.
Like I said before - if I knew I was conversing with a non-Christian, I would have approached it differently.

So then, you pray to sinners here on Earth! I pray to God.
And YOU will also continue praying to people on earth every time you ASK somebody for something.

Just because you reject the definition of a word - DOESN'T make it "untrue" . . .

You have confessed for everyone here to see that you pray to sinners!

Wow, that's quite a smokescreen. Do you pray to the Devil too? Oh that's right, you don't know Mary from the Devil.

Nope - I don't ASK him for anything.

You're getting awfully excited over a word that you refuse to accept.
Read the following and calm down already . . .

Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary:
Full Definition of pray
transitive verb

1: entreat, implore —often used as a function word in introducing a question, request, or plea<pray be careful>
2: to get or bring by praying

intransitive verb
1: to make a request in a humble manner
2: to address God or a god with adoration, confession, supplication, or thanksgiving

See? Words have meanings.
NO need to be afraid of the truth . . .

so you get your definitions of biblical words from websters ?

the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia puts it, “Christian prayer in its full New Testament meaning is prayer addressed to God as Father, in the name of Christ as Mediator, and through the enabling grace of the indwelling Spirit”

Does Mary talk to you? Or is it Satan? You don't have a clue.
Actually - this is the THIRD time you've prayed to me about this subject - and the THIRD time I will answer your prayer:
Mary doesn't talk to me.

Hopefully, it sinks in that time . . .

so you pray to false gods since prayer is communicating with God according to Scripture and you pray to sinful men and women.

thanks for admitting your idolatry.

WRONG.

Communicating with God is only PART of the definition of "Pray" - a SECONDARY definition.
The PRIMARY definition simply means to ASK, to entreat, to implore.

I'm shocked at the amount of willful ignorance on this thread . . .
