Therefore, the version you used isn't saying anything different from the kjv...it's just saying it in a different way.
That's exactly what I just said . . .
He might, through a word of knowledge or prophetic anointing.

But more likely, that the child has reached the age of accountability will be recognized by his parents or others in the church that he or she attends. Because it can certainly be a visible thing when a child responds to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and goes forward at an altar call to receive Christ. Then you know that the child has reached the age of accountability, because they have made a decision for Christ.

But you don't baptize someone because they have reached the age of accountability...you baptize them when they decide to follow Jesus.

So then, it is not necessary to know when the child has reached that age. If they make a decision for Christ, they are old enough to make a decision for Christ.
So, if a 4-year old wants to give his life to Christ - but doesn't yet possess the reason to understand that he must eat his vegetable in order to grow into a healthy young man - he is of this fabled "Age of Reason"??
In 2 Timothy 3:16, it is written that all scripture is inspired of God and is profitable for doctrine, for correctio, for reproof, and for instruction in righteousness.
If the teachings of "the church" are contrary to what is written, then they are contrary to what God has inspired to be written.
Par for the course that you would call me a liar, yet again. I think it is true that when you do this you are resorting to an ad hominem attack.
As I stated - the Bible EXPLICITLY states that some of what the Church teaches has been passed down by ORAL TEACHING (2 Thess. 2:15).
2 Tim. 3:16
says NOTHING about Scripture being our SOLE Authority or that it contains everything.

If that's what you're trying to say - then you're calling Paul a LIAR per 2 Thess. 2:15.
You do reject His church; because it was members of His church that penned the holy scriptures; and you reject certain things that are written in holy scripture in that you adhere to certain Catholic doctrines that are contrary to scripture.
NOTHING that the Catholic Church teaches is "contrary" to Scripture.
It only seems that way to the Scripturally ignorant . . .[/QUOTE]

The Catholic Church believes and practices what Jesus said in John 6:53-54 and Luke 22:19-20! How is doing what he told us to do and believing what he told us "a cult like mentality"?

Mary

You've made an idol out of the communion because your church has created it to be so.
Thats a big problem.
You believe that your false priest can turn a cookie and juice into the literal body and blood of Jesus that you ingest.
God told you that you can't eat flesh or drink blood.. So, you have a problem.
The issue is that you are deceived by the cult of Mary.

I would say to this that the Bible is the final authority.

Psa 118:8, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psa 118:9, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Hi,

It takes man to properly interpret the Bible soooooo what confident man do you choose to properly interpret the Bible? Do you trust yourself to do that?

However - every individual wasn't guaranteed that they would be guided to ALL truth by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will guide into all truth those who have Him....God does not confer the Holy Spirit on someone just because they belong to a church of a certain title.

He gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him (Luke 11:9-13).

NOR was every individual guaranteed that WHATEVER THEY bound or loosed on earth would also be bound and loosed in Heaven.
These promises were made to the Apostles and their successors collectively.

These promises were given in holy scripture to anyone who would take hold of them by faith.

(see 2 Peter 1:3-4, Hebrews 11:33, 2 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 4:20-22).

PS...The bread and wine are not transubstantiated by The Church. It is transubstantiated by God which is based upon the words of Jesus, "This IS my body/blood".

If that is the case, then God can transubstantiate the bread and wine even in churches where the bread and wine are considered to be symbolic.

Listen deceiver.
Its not about the age of accountability.
Its about having faith in the GOSPEL. "faith comes by hearing", and salvation is based on FAITH.
Babies can't have faith, and very young children cannot understand what "blood sacrifice" is all about or what "SIN" is all about, and why its the Grace of God that is Salvation.
So, a person has to have the ability to hear the Gospel and Believe it, to become born again.
Babies dont have it. 2 Yr olds can't hear it. And you as of yet, have no clue, yourself, deceiver.
So, what your cult does, is omits the Cross, omits the Blood of Jesus, and deceives children and you, and all Cult of Mary obsessed with the idea that "just get the water, and you'll be saved"
NONSENSE, = The Devil's lie.

I trust that God has given me the Holy Spirit because I have asked Him for the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:9-13). And I trust the Holy Spirit to do that.

It is a matter of personal relationship with Jesus. Do you not want that?

Do you not know that you do not have to go through a Catholic Priest in order to have a relationship with God?

You can be a saint.

Hi Behold,

Ummmmmm......How about if I quote Scripture/Jesus and see if your theory is right: He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This IS my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." So do tell me: Was that a one time only event that the bread/wine was his body and blood?

If you were face to face with Paul, who converted to Christianity several years after the death of Christ, he would tell you whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord....those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. Soooo you have a problem since your theory is opposite of what Paul said.

In fact, in Paul's day, many were sick and even died because they did not recognize the body and blood of the Lord.

So, I would ask, why does this not happen in Protestant churches where they do not recognize that the actual body and blood of the Lord is being partaken of in communion? Is the word of the Lord not timeless?

Perhaps the symbolic interpretation of communion is actually valid...otherwise, would not those who consider it to be merely symbolic also be recipients of the Lord's discipline in the taking of communion?

Hi JBF,

Soooo what you are saying is that God will transubstantiate the bread even though the people participating in the communion bread do not believe it can be done?

Was the bread/wine transubstantiated at The Last Supper?

Can I trust that God has given a certain Priest the Holy Spirit?

I don't believe that it was. Jesus' blood was in His body; and His body was on His person.

A certain priest may have the Holy Spirit...

You would only know by whether you have actually experienced the Holy Spirit yourself....His presence is unmistakeable.

The gift of discernment of spirits might also be an asset for you...perhaps you should ask Him for it.

And even those who have the Holy Spirit may be wrong on certain issues...because they may not be surrendered to the Holy Spirit concerning what they are to believe. Certain biases that come from experience may very well get in the way of them being able to accept what is sound doctrine on any given subject.

Hi JBF,

Sooooo what I understand you to be asking is why doesn't anyone today who does not recognize the actual body/blood of the Lord in the bread/wine not die and/or get sick? I guess if you take literally what Paul said that would be a good question. Perhaps Paul meant get sick/die in the faith? You make a good point!! :) Soooo why don't you take what Jesus said as being literal: "This IS my body/blood"???

The point I am trying to make is why would Paul believe that sickness, death, and damnation result from an unworthy reception of the Eucharist if it were merely a symbol? Wouldn't such consequences be unintelligible if the Eucharist is a mere symbol?

If the bread/wine is a mere symbol of His body/blood how do YOU fulfill John 6:53-58?

SURE I can - and I HAVE on many occasions.

- Mary's sinlessness (Kecharitomene) - Luke 1:28
- Mary Bodily in Heaven - Rev. 12:1

S-T-R-E-T-C-H ---

So IOW, you've got nothing, that says Mary was SINLESS.

Whoop, Whoop The Word of God, Prevails!

Rom 3
  1. [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom.5
  1. [12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Whoop! Whoop!

Rev 12:1
The Woman is Israel.
The 12 Stars are the 12 Tribes

was every individual guaranteed that WHATEVER THEY bound or loosed on earth would also be bound and loosed in Heaven.
These promises were made to the Apostles and their successors collectively.

Seccessors? Scripture?

The ONE Church established by Christ is the true Church (Matt. 16:18-19)

The ONE Church...is Christ's Church.
Built upon Belief, Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Christ is the Head and the First Foundational Cornerstone and The Rock of His Church.
And every Added member to Christ's Church, is likened to additional stones.

Matt. 19:14
doesn't give us an "Age of Accountability".

Is the cut-off at 16?
14?
12?

What don't you get? God doesn't search Birth-dates of People!

Which one of your tens of thousands of perpetually-splintering sects with competing doctrines gets to make that determination?

LOL - Tens of Thousands...

And WHO gave them that authority?

Them- the Ten of Thousands? Why don't you ask Them...and give us a report of those Tens of Thousands? LOL

You're deceived.
You've chosen the cult of mary over the Son of God.
You've chosen the "pope" over the Holy Spirit.
You've chosen Mary, and her cult as your truth.
If you die this way, there remains no more sacrifice for you.
Remember i told you that....

Now, look at your verse, as ive already explained this to you, once.
Here it is again.
See that word "figure"?
That means that the context is SYMBOLIC.
This is like Jesus saying he is the LIVING WATER.
So, to a deceived cult of mary member, "living water" would be LITERAL.
And to the same, the word "figure" is not comprehensible to them, as you are proving again.
You and your cult of mary, do not discern scriptures, you just read them.
If you discerned them, you would understand that that word "FIGURE", is explaining that the verses are SYMBOLIC.

So,
it does not take an Einstein to figure this out, but it does take a born again Spirit to do it.
Thats your problem.
See if you can figure this out, before its too late.
You can't POSSIBLY be this dense . . .

Of COURSE "figure" means symbolic. This verse, translated into modern English says "and this water SYMBOLIZES baptism".
Peter is talking about the water from the FLOOD, Einstein - NOT the water of Baptism. He is making the comparison of Noah and his family being SAVED THROUGH WATER in the flood - just like WE are SAVED THROUGH WATER in Baptism.

Saved THROUGH - not saved BY.
Noah wasn't saved BY water - he was saved BY the Ark - that went THROUGH water.

Good grief - my 2nd grade Catechism students weren't this confused . . .

Let me give you an update.
Jesus isn't a Catholic, and there are no Catholics in Heaven.
There are no denominations in Heaven.
Now you know.
Stop being stupid.
Let go of the cult of Mary.
That's what I told you before, Einstein. Jesus isn't a christian of ANY kind - didn't you know that?

However, EVERYBODY i Heaven besides God and the angels is Catholic . . .
