Everyone is eating something spiritually, but are they not few who are eating daily the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus?none of us really ever goto a diff town and stay in one house, and eat what they feed you huh
the lessons were invaluable, but i am convinced now that this is something to be done spiritually, rather than literally...although i dunno if there is a substitute for the literal there, either. Mostly bc any proxy we effect will be more under our control
Check this out...How will He partake of the fruit of the vine new with us in His Father's kingdom?
Jesus was raised bodily from the dead (John 2:19-21); He also ate a piece of broiled fish and honeycomb in His resurrected body (Luke 24:42-43).
The Holy Ghost, while He is Jesus Christ, is a distinct Person from the Son.
It is the Holy Ghost that is that Omnipresent Spirit; and He is the same Spirit as the Father (Ephesians 4:4); while He also proceeds from the Father (John 15:26).
The Son exists in a glorified human body (1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7).
Doesn't change the other things I spoke of...Check this out...
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
The heavens are lit up by Jesus. The sun is gone. God illuminates heaven through the omnipresent body of Jesus.
I think you are misunderstanding Hebrews 13.Doesn't change the other things I spoke of...
Jesus will drink of the fruit of the vine new with us in His Father's kingdom (Matthew 26:29).
Jesus, in His resurrected body (John 2:19-21) ate a piece of honeycomb and broiled fish (Luke 24:42-43).
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).
The text doesn't say no body for Jesus blinded saul duh.I think you are misunderstanding Hebrews 13.

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus....
No "body" here.
The text says there was a light from heaven and a voice spoke to Paul via the light and identified itself as "Jesus" to Paul(Saul). The text doesn't say no body for Jesus blinded saul duh.
An Apostle was appointed in person by Jesus Himself as with the 12 and must of been an EYEWITNESS of His bodily Resurrection. That is a biblical FACT. Paul saw the Resurrected Lord BODILY as He testified below.
Acts 1:21-22
Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from John's baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection."
Acts 5:29-32
Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men! 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead — whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."
Luke 1:1-2
Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word.
1 Corinthians 9:1-2
Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not the result of my work in the Lord? 2 Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:3-9
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. 9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
hope this helps !!!
you are reading into the text things that are absent. The text says there was a light from heaven and a voice spoke to Paul via the light and identified itself as "Jesus" to Paul(Saul).
No wonder this force that knocked Paul to the ground needed identification....it was not human in appearance.
you are reading into the text things that are absent.
....like a physical body of Jesus is absent from the text.you are reading into the text things that are absent.
The number 1 qualification of an Apostles was that He was personally chosen by Jesus and they must be an eyewitness of his Resurrection ( BODILY).....like a physical body of Jesus is absent from the text.
^"Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds." Ezek 5:10
So, you think Jesus is not omnipresent? The number 1 qualification of an Apostles was that He was personally chosen by Jesus and they must be an eyewitness of his Resurrection ( BODILY).
I provided the scriptures confirming the above is TRUE.
hope this helps !!!
He was , is and always will be. He was as a man walking this earth and now as a man in heaven. The Godman forever now. the Incarnation was permanent. So, you think Jesus is not omnipresent?
God became His omnipresent man/self?He was , is and always will be. He was as a man walking this earth and now as a man in heaven. The Godman forever now. the Incarnation was permanent.
All the text says is this regarding the light, nothing about what you are reading into the text. You know why Paul only heard a voice ? Jesus blinded saul for 3 days.I think you are misunderstanding Hebrews 13.

Again, Jesus had no visible bodily form, just appeared as a blinding light as a voice spoke from it.All the text says is this regarding the light, nothing about what you are reading into the text. You know why Paul only heard a voice ? Jesus blinded saul for 3 days.
New American Standard Bible
As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;
New King James Version
As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.
King James Bible
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
1 Peter 2:9 is a reference to the Father, nice try though.Again, Jesus had no visible bodily form, just appeared as a blinding light as a voice spoke from it.
Even Peter describes Jesus as light....
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
God is not lighting everything through Jesus?1 Peter 2:9 is a reference to the Father, nice try though.
care to translate the above from your parabolic language to plain English ?'Christophany' ALIAS 'Earburner' --- the seeming eternally metamorphosing insect with no sting only stink, but which also is to receive the sting of death by the Sword of The Word!
