Do You Believe In The Paranormal?

I believe there is a spiritual realm, I believe in angels and demons but I must admit that I believe that ghosts are an illusion from the demonic side of things. I don’t believe , personally, that it is right to dabble with the occult, mainly because it can open doors to things we simply don’t always understand. As a teenager I use to dabble with the occult, and I was a big fan of horror movies, but it opened my mind up to a fear that just grew. It took the Lord a long time to break that tie to that fear, and even now after nearly 40 years since I gave my life to Christ, I still have to be careful what I watch. I have a very vivid imagination !

Para-normal: forces that are beyond natural or scientific understanding.
Super-natural: forces beyond natural or scientific understanding.
And that is why good communication is so important - people can use different words to mean the same thing or the same words to mean different things. This is not a bad thing or proof that one of the persons is speaking inaccurately, it's merely a reality of using words to communicate.

That's a very good point.
There are definitely unusual paranormal related events and experiences in our world that cannot be explained or logically explained away.

There is no such thing as spirits of dead people on earth and giving messages....
These are demonic spirits imitating dead people.
The Bible warns us against these things.

After reading through this thread, I'm seriously questioning your motive, @April_Rose for setting this up.
You've been warned that the paranormal is dangerous, demonic. If you choose to be involved with the occult, you do so to your own detriment, but I am concerned about people that you may be influencing to think that the occult/paranormal is okay. That goes for everyone else posting in this thread who seem to be legitimatizing the occult.
The occult is of the devil--Satan! Involvement in the occult is always dangerous and harmful! As I told a devil-worshiping student of mine many years ago, the devil eats his children. If you open the door to the devil (or his demons) and entertain him in your life, he will destroy you!!!

Umm,.. I'm not choosing to be involved in the occult though. I haven't mentioned that anywhere in this thread. I'm a Christian not a Satanist. The occult is definitely dangerous.

Just now, and yeah I don't get involved with the paranormal myself too much because it's against my beliefs and it's definitely dangerous. Especially to those who don't know what they're doing,.. but that doesn't mean that I can't watch things like Ghost Adventures and that I have to condemn other people for doing it. It's none of my business and it's not my job since I'm not God.

I can't "chill" when it comes to the devil. I've seen too many people destroyed by him! Surely, you can understand where I'm coming from.
But I have prayed for you, and I hope that you will get rid of everything in your life that opens a door to demonic influence. I mean, everything. You can ask the Holy Spirit to show you, and He will.
BTW, I'm not against YOU. I don't see you as the enemy. But I know how the enemy works. One little crack in the door, and he flings it wide open.

Before I go out for a walk I hope there is something that you and the other members on here will consider as well. How about you guys just let God do His job,.. the staff members do their job,.. and you guys do your job by minding your own business when it comes to how other people live their lives? I probably would like people a lot more on here and have less people currently on my ignore list if everybody did that unless I was actually looking for your advice and opinions. Here,.. it wasn't called for because I was asking who all believed in the paranormal. All it needed was a simple yes or no. I wasn't looking for a lecture. See @Seven of Nine?? That's all you have to do when it comes to dealing with people who give you stress on here.
