Why is this forum full of so many hateful "Christians"?

You've probably heard the saying, "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing."

Sometimes, God uses His people to stem the tide of evil by placing them in public office.

I've known Christians who have served in public office.

They can make the difference in whether our laws are completely ungodly. I've personally witnessed this.

Sure, every now and then a Carter will get elected and serve one term maybe, but anyone truly interested in serving will be assassinated, just like the last two potuses who attempted to abolish the federal reserve.

Yes that comes across immature and childish, which is typical for Trump. LOL, he is that way. And I've known other super successful people that haven't had time to take a real hard inner look and mature, they're too busy taking care of their families and serving God. So they stay immature their whole lives.
LOL! Call me immature.

I guess I come from a generation that took things like this in stride. Political cartoons aren't nice.

I don't know why you're having such a problem with this. Do you think that only evil people can run for office? Is there some sort of secret questionnaire that people seeking office have answer and prove that they are evil, lol???

These were people I personally knew--in person, up close and personal.

Thanks for referencing that. I followed the other party in the debate, the conservative Baptist made sense to me, and couldn't take Juan Williams seriously.

I won't vote for a politician or a presidential candidate because the person claims to be a Christian. It isn't a deciding factor for me. Personally, I don't believe Christians or any other religious group should be given preferential treatment or be given political influence in the government. I also don't believe that the federal government should endorse, promote or politically pander to Christians or to any other religious people. I think the federal government of the United States should be neutral and allow each religion to be represented equally within the laws of our nation. I believe every American, regardless of age, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, should be represented equally in the federal government.

yes you could live in an encampment, hunt and live off the land, but then you still need medical care and bullets for your hunting rifle. Then you could represent yourself. Or you could run for office.

I don't disregard Juan Williams' personal commentary on Trump supporters because his sentiment is widely shared among many non-Christians. It's a terrible indictment upon the Evangelical Christian Church to be publicly accused of selling their soul to gain political favor with Trump.

im not having a prob with that at all, im just speaking with someone who is convinced i guess :)

You are right about that! We have all heard the guy that says, "I am the kind of man that....." You are not what you say you are, you are what you do and what you support. And what the Democrats do and what they support are commands from hell.

I don't see it as an indictment so much as an opinion, one could claim either side has sold their soul. Again I sided with the Baptist here as the lesser of two evils appears to be Trump. But yeah that language could cause debates.

sharia law is Scriptural btw; it is voluntary, etc, ive lived under it for years at a time, works great. Dont buy the horror stories
