Never used twitter.
Stopped using google a long time ago.
Working on dumping apple...stopped using Amazon.
Haven't you heard about the biggest censoring in US history that happened this weekend. Conservatives are under massive attack. Parler is twitters prime competitor - a conservative leaning platform. On the weekend apple and google removed the Parler app from their app stores. Then last night amazon kicked Parler off their servers. So Parler is gone essentially.
You are wise. I am working to get completely off google. The problem is all the other sites/applications where I have used my Gmail address as my userid. Need to change all those to a new email before shutting down Gmail account.

In a lot of respect what can we do. Sure we can stop using Google, Apple, and the rest but it doesn't accomplish much. A boycott doesn't work until everyone does it and that will not happen. Every product we use, every store we go to, every place we buy is for the most part is evil. Are we prepared to stop living.
I and my family have given up Twitter and Google, even P & G which support abortion yet they all still do the same thing.

There is Gab, Rumble, List.com there are others not just Parler though I liked Parler a lot more and it will be back under it's own power (take about a week they said). Parler should have never went on Amazon Cloud to begin with everyone knows Jeff Bozo, opps Bazo I mean, is a lib. It's like the old parable about the scorpion who took a ride with an alligator and at the end the alligator started eating the scorpion, the scorpion ask why he was being eaten. The alligator responded you knew what I was when you accepted the ride.
You are correct. It takes a lots of us working together to any effect.
Yes gab grew by over 600,000 yesterday. They added 10 new servers to accommodate. They were doing ok this morning but now I see they are down. Perhaps millions more trying to join. Not sure I want to see gab getting too big either

One America News Network is an excellent resource for news.
So is the 700 Club news period usually at start of their daily program. The rest of their programming may be iffy but the news is very good. Some reporting is found nowhere else.

YouTube is owned by Google. If you are on Gmail check to see how Google uses your personal information.
Change personal info
- Sign in to your Google Account.
- Under "Personal info," click the info you want to change.
- Follow the steps on the screen.
Just to toss this out since we're talking about personal privacy too, if anyone has those little key ring discount cards for shopping in certain stores, swipe at the register and you get special pricing as a member type things, ditch them. Those , when you registered to get those discounts and that little card, are one of the primary sources for junk mail and cold calling.
Everything you buy, when you swipe that card for the discount, is recorded on your file with that company. Then they sell your contact info to companies that produce a product akin to your shopping pattern.
Another way your privacy is breached can be through the DMV. They will sell your contact info that's recorded on your vehicle registration. Many DMV's have a form you can request to opt-out of that. Same with the Register of Deeds office. They sell homeowner contact info.
The most obscene part of that is, home owners can log onto their local register of deeds site to find out their prop tax info , sewer tax, etc...
However, that is also a conduit for deed thieves to go in and get your information too.
Then they print out a transfer of deed form per the format your particular state prints for that purpose of transferal of property, register it and claim you sold your house to them when it never happened. Next thing you know, you go away for a weekend camping trip, come home, and your key doesn't work in your lock.
Someone answers your door and tells you it is their house now.
You call the cops.
The cops tell you, there's nothing they can do!
This is a civil matter. Take it to court. Prove you didn't sell the house.

I'd agree however, haven't they swung toward being somewhat bias against Trump of late? I've heard this but haven't paid them regular attention to know if there has been that deep a switch, or swing, as it were.
