Do you remember the details of your honeymoon? Like...what cities did you stop at? What activities did you and your spouse do (sightseeing, beech, etc)? What restaurants, or hotels did you use? Do you remember the trip or is it a distant memory, a blur? lol

Also, if you answer, could you tell how long you've been married?

Are you trying to show your wife that other guys don’t clearly remember their honeymoon, either? lol

Just kidding.

I didn’t have a honeymoon and we moved in with my parents for a few months , until we could find a place to live. I was pregnant and felt unwell throughout the nine months. We were married for 27 years, have four children. We divorced many years ago and my ex sadly died of cancer in 2019 .........I got married in 1979and came to faith three years later......

Not married anymore but...

I got married after a few weeks of dating when I was 19, though we talked online since I was 14.

I got married at a church set up for the homeless and poverty-stricken, that sat in the middle two bars perfectly so people would come in for church and be fed after.

Paid $160 for the whole wedding. Got the dress for $80 at a prom shop and he got a suit from the thrift store. I lived with my exs mom and so the majority of the people that attended was my exs family. Spent the night before making ham rollups and my exs sisters boyfriends mom made the cake. I don't know her.

The cake was alright but the service was a mess. I practically ran across the aisle with my dad because I thought I just needed to get there. Thought dad took care of the honeymoon but he didn't so I didn't know what to do so I got a hotel room at Super 8, where the guy told me to be quiet after walking too fast in the hall because people were sleeping. Went to Dennys after too much champagne and asked for free food because I was the bride and they gave me water.

Dad went around filming for marriage advice and I can't remember any of the advice except my aunts "please don't hit her." Groom didn't like that.

First couple hours were pretty lame because I was told "I can't miss the season finale of Heroes." So I called my cousin and sat on the phone and ate a bunch of chocolates.

When the marriage didn't work out, I threw the wedding ring into the river because I needed my dramatic self absorbed moment.

He said, "You should have pawned that.. It was worth $1,500." I said, "Dude, you got it for $20 on eBay. It's fine."

It's just stuff to laugh about now.

My husband and I went to Colorado Springs ....Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cripple Creek, etc. (I think there was a mine there.) It was something like 70-ish degrees, and then we went up on Pike's Peak and it was COLD! (lol) The snow was packed solid like ice. We spent several days there. On our way to Colorado Springs, we stopped at Dodge City, Kansas and visited a little western village with historical markers and antiques.

I remember well, for 32 years ago.

Big Bear Lake, boating, horseback riding, hiking, that moldy Black Forest cake at the Log Cabin Inn. There was tar on the seats at the theater where we saw Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. They had just redone the roof. We had rented a cabin on the south side of the highway from the lake, an A-frame with a great woodsy view.

I remember when we left the church in my primer grey Charger, we hadn't had a bite to eat during the reception, my brother our photographer was too busy filling our Wedding Album. So we got into the car and drove away, and didn't stop for 60 miles, when we pulled off to open the bag of sandwiches they had put into our car, and began to eat. We were starving!

It's a very clear memory for me.

Much love!
